PROFILE
In his previous job, he was involved in sales and planning at a select store while learning the know-how of the fashion business. Two years ago, he left the company to prepare for the launch of his own brand, which had been his dream. He currently works as a designer for "PRIVATE BRAND S.F.S." and is also a staff member of "SO NAKAMEGURO," a new select store that just opened in Nakameguro. He keeps his trademark shaved head trimmed once a week. He has also recently become aware of his health, and running and biking are now part of his daily routine.
How was the comfort of "Fred Middle B200 PF"?
They are lighter and warmer than I expected. The fit is as comfortable and stress-free as if I were wearing room shoes. The sole is also made of Vibram, so I can experience stable cushioning. The fluorescent orange color was also fresh.
Do you have any particular points in mind when styling?
The coloring is vivid, so I tried to keep the outerwear and bottoms in basic colors while accentuating them with my feet. Orange is surprisingly effective when used in a single point, such as with a knit cap or other accessories.
What was the point of your outfit on this day?
The star of the show is an oversized fishtail coat that I recently purchased. It's made of a tech-inspired functional material, with many pockets for different purposes and gimmicky details that tickle the fancy of men. Another key point is that I've paired it with denim shorts to keep it from becoming too outdoorsy and casual.
It looks like it would go well with bottoms from your own brand.
Yes, that's right. Many of the bottoms I make have a wide silhouette, and I think items with a voluminous shape like down shoes are easy to match. High-tech sneakers and running shoes are more modern, but if you want to enjoy the atmosphere of the 90's, they may be perfect.
What is the future outlook for "Private Brand SFS"?
I am now carefully making one model at a time at my own pace, so it is difficult to deliver to a large number of customers, but I would like to increase the number of models little by little and make items other than bottoms. I also have an ambition to eventually make women's items as well. Please look forward to it.
