How often and how far do you run these days?
Akuzawa:Depending on the time of year, I run about two to three times a week , at a distance of 10 to 20 kilometers per run. I also run several marathons and trail run races a year.



What is your personal best for a full marathon?
Akuzawa:. I set a new personal best of 3 hours, 20 minutes, and 43 seconds at the Kochi Ryoma Marathon in February of this year. This was a significant improvement over my previous best time, and I felt a great response from myself, but I believe there is still room for improvement. . My goal for the future is to achieve sub-3 (under 3 hours for a full marathon) within 2 years. My recent monthly mileage is about 150-200 km, but I would like to increase it in the future.

Akuzawa:Since I started running again as an adult, I have focused on running for fun, but recently I have been enjoying running again with a time in mind. Of course it's fun to run loose, but it's also fun to push yourself to the limit and push yourself to the limit.
