Please tell us how you came to be interested in Bering.
Sugiura:I first heard about it about three years ago when I was doing a styling project for a wristwatch. I actually tried it on a model and honestly thought it was cool. The plain design of the sapphire-glass face, which is also used in high-end watches, blends well with suits and looks good in casual wear. It goes with any kind of wear. I found it easy to style and at the same time interesting to add the presence of "Bering" to it.
What exactly do you find attractive about the design?
Sugiura:Whether it is architecture or furniture, Scandinavian products are lean and never get old. This is exactly the case with Bering watches. There is no ornate decoration, but the watch is a fusion of well-thought-out functional beauty and details based on a story. The result is a flat, easy-to-match watch that is also very strong. The elegant coloring of each piece is also very pleasing.

Do you feel that you are becoming more popular in the fashion scene?
Sugiura:Not so much three years ago, but this time, when I went around the press room leasing clothes, most people knew about it. And when I stood on the street to take snapshots, I've seen highly sensitive kids wearing them many times. What is also surprising is the affordable price despite its luxury feel. I think that is one of the reasons for their support.
What was your perspective in styling the 3-series models you picked up this time?
Sugiura:The most important thing we wanted to convey in this project was that it can be worn with any style. That is why we have come up with a wide range of styling options, from on to off-duty. It can be worn with the mainstay coordinates, of course, but it can also be worn with a little bit of a twist.
