SWEAT / T-SHIRT

Q:What was your impression when you heard about "THE CO-OP" project?
A:I was genuinely excited to hear your story . I really sympathized with them and wanted to cooperate with them. . I would have been happy if there had been a project like this when I was a student.
Q:What were your school years like? In particular, how did you encounter fashion, art, and culture?
A:. I worked part-time at a vintage clothing store. Most of the money I earned from my part-time job was spent on clothes. The older students around me taught me everything they knew.

Q:Please explain the items you have created for this project.
A:T-shirts may look like nothing, but they are made with the utmost care, from the yarn to the knitting to the pattern. (The same goes for sweatshirts.) Even if the body of the T-shirt is washed a lot, the neckline is made with care so that it does not get stretched out. The silhouette is just the right balance of not being too modern. The sweatshirt is a tightly-knit sweatshirt material with firmness and volume, but it is a sweatshirt that feels softer and lighter than it looks. We want you to wear it as much as you want and wash it as much as you want without worrying about anything.
Q:If you were to teach something to students today, what comes to mind?
A:If there is something you love to do, or something you want to do, if you spend your time and money differently than others on that, something will change later on.
Q:Please give a message to students who are new to your brand at THE CO-OP.
A:I wanted to participate in this project because I wanted students to wear something very ordinary but of good quality. . I made these clothes with attention to the parts that are hard to see. I believe that the clothes will have an atmosphere even after they are worn out and crumpled up.

Q:What was your impression when you heard about "THE CO-OP" project?
A:I feel that this is a very meaningful project, as I myself purchased the most clothes during my college years, and I believe that I have improved my clothing deviation.
Q:What were your school years like? In particular, how did you encounter fashion, art, and culture?
A:In high school, I spent my days listening to music ( Progressive, Glam Rock, Punk, New Wave, and New Romantic ) and going to vintage clothing stores and clothing shops in Harajuku and Ameyoko on weekends. During my college years, I didn't go to school and worked part-time, using all the money I earned from my part-time job to buy and wear clothes by Garçon, Yohji Yamamoto, and others. I was obsessed with Western paintings and contemporary art, and went to many art museums for no reason at all. I wonder if it has any benefit to me now.
I had a lot of money and time to waste, so I couldn't sit still and was always going somewhere by myself. After graduating from college, I got a job, but I quit after 3 months and went back to school to specialize in apparel to do what I wanted to do, but I was living in the chaos of the 90's and didn't know what was going on. My grades in my major were second or third from the bottom. I was not good at all. I was the best at submitting assignments, though. I remember going to art museums and mini-theater type movie theaters as if I was obsessed with forgetting the chaos of my daily life, while everyone around me was getting a job.
. I continued to listen to a variety of music throughout the years. This was the time when I became devoted to the Chicago School of Acoustics, and I became interested in lo-fi music and chewed on the significance of digital and analog. I feel that this is the foundation of my current concept of analog manufacturing of clothing.
Q:Please explain the items you have created for this project.
A:The Student fit is an homage to Levi's Student fit, and the loose fit design is also an homage to Levi's Student fit, but the silhouette and sizing are an homage to Levi's relaxed fit. Neither is a perfect copy of the other, but rather a fine-tuning of the other.
Q:If you were to teach something to students today, what comes to mind?
A:I think you should thoroughly do what you can in what you like to do.
Q:Please give a message to students who are new to your brand at THE CO-OP.
A:. it is better to wear a variety of clothes when you are young.
