He is known as a specialist who continues to expand his world through his hobbies and tastes, and has just opened "anea cafe hatchobori" (anea cafe hatchobori). . As of June 2020, he is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Today you will be walking around the neighborhood wearing Shaka's "AT Series" sandals.
Yokomachi:I had not been getting enough exercise recently due to the period of self-restraint, and I was itching to get moving, so it was perfect timing.
A: The "AT Series" are new sandals designed for outdoor use, but they also seem to be comfortable to wear in the city.
Yokomachi:I have only walked a couple of steps , but it is not as heavy as it looks. . I'm rather surprised at how light they are. . They certainly look good for street wear.
How did you spend your time during this period of self-restraint?
Yokomachi:. I basically stayed at home and worked. The opening of the Hacchobori branch of "anea cafe" was just around the corner, so I worked remotely to prepare for the opening. I also spent some time at Botainize, taking care of plants, and visiting the "Tokyo Bento Stand" on the floor below.
Take out the famous green tea at "TOKYO BENTO STAND" located a few minutes walk from my house. Cold green tea is exceptionally tasty in the hot and humid weather. It is the perfect accompaniment to a walk.
How about your private life?
Yokomachi:I have been practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu for as long as I can remember, but the gym was closed during this period, so I had no chance to move my body. . So, I made a conscious effort to take longer walks so that I would not be as slow as possible. Since my house, the Tokyo Bento Stand, and Botainize are also located in Daikanyama, I would take walks around the neighborhood, avoiding busy times as much as possible.
I also stopped by Botanaise Daikanyama on the fifth floor of the same building as the Tokyo Bento Stand to water the plants. It is a refreshing way to get in touch with greenery.
Our editorial office is also in Daikanyama, so we used to meet in the neighborhood.
Yokomachi:We used to see each other really often (laughs). . I hope that Daikanyama will soon return to its former vigor....
By the way, what kind of shoes do you choose when you stroll around the neighborhood?
Yokomachi:I have always unconsciously worn running-type sneakers, and until now I have never chosen sandals. However, I myself love the outdoors, and I always thought it would be nice to have a pair of sandals that I could wear in the city without feeling uncomfortable, while still being able to go into natural fields.
What do you think of the "AT series" sandals today?
Yokomachi:As I said when I put my foot in it, it's just so light. They are very comfortable. Also, there are sandals with Velcro straps that become painful as you wear them, but these "AT Series" sandals do not have Velcro straps. There is no stress at all when wearing them. Also, the cushioning of the sole is very good, so I don't get tired at all even if I wear them for a long time on concrete. Do you use any special sole?
Yes, that's right. The "AT Series" has an EVA Injection sole, which provides excellent cushioning and grip. And since it is thicker than conventional footbeds, it seems less tiring to walk for long periods of time.
Yokomachi:I see . These sandals are certainly much more comfortable than ordinary sandals. Also, although it is not so much an obsession, I wear only black, gray, and sometimes navy for most of what I wear. Any combination matches, and it looks stylish (laughs). . so this all-black color scheme looks pretty good.
Shaka has a wide variety of colors, so it's great that you can find the perfect color for you.
Yokomachi:Sandals will be cool and comfortable in the coming season, and I discovered something new: I can wear them around town without feeling uncomfortable if I wear socks with them. . I think I'll buy the gray and navy ones, too.
