To be strong in many ways.
Have you changed in any way as a result of continuing to work on the project?
Tsugumi:People say I have good posture and a good shape, but I honestly don't know if it's because of jiu-jitsu. . because I do other training as well. . Jiu-jitsu is more fun than anything else, and I enjoy trying to learn new techniques. After all, it is better to be able to do something than not to be able to do anything at all. It becomes a special skill using my body, and it gives me confidence when the time comes or when I need to do something. Maintaining motivation will also give you mental strength, which is important in life. The stronger you are, the cooler you are as a person, and the stronger you will be in the way you face your work...all good things.

What is the relevance or impact of your work?
Tsugumi:I wonder what it is . I can't be sure, but I think it helps. (I do the same thing in my work. I think it's a way of thinking ahead, like, "If this happens, then this is what I'm going to do, so I'm going to do this. Originally, I was not a theoretical person, and I used to work on the spur of the moment, so I guess that's the influence of jiu-jitsu.

. I also heard that Ms. Tsugumi is helping to increase the number of female members of Carpe Diem (laughs).
Tsugumi:I am the number one female member (laughs). (Laughs.) Nowadays, exercise is all the rage. Women in particular are interested in physical exercise, so when I told them I do jiu-jitsu, they said, "That's great. The conversation goes from there, and I ask them if they want to try it , and they say, "Why don't you try it? I invite them to try it. What's that? She says, "It's Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which is different from judo in that it's a martial art in which you win or lose by scoring points with clincher techniques. There is no punching, kicking, or throwing, so it doesn't hurt. . It uses both the abdominal muscles and the buttocks. It can also be used as a self-defense technique, and it can keep you motivated when the time comes," he said. Some people actually find it interesting, while others find it unsuitable.
Again, what is the attraction of this dojo in Carpe Diem?
Tsugumi:(I think it's the charm and style of Mr. Ishikawa . His thinking is cool. The staff members who gather here are also competent, strong, accomplished, serious, and stylish. All the staff members have been going out into the world more and more in the last few years. I am proud and grateful to be here. Also, the clientele is great, and everyone is stylish. . I think that is also a manifestation of Mr. Ishikawa's style. . I think it is because Mr. Ishikawa himself has a good sense of style and is particular about what he does.
