. Please tell us about your latest favorite sneakers. Let's start with the "Air Force 1. This is HTM, right?

Ishikawa:Yes , I bought it about 20 years ago , when it was first released. I really wanted it, so I asked a friend of mine and managed to get it.
HTM is a special project that Hiroshi Fujiwara, Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, and then-Nike CEO Mark Parker were involved in. The name of the project is also derived from the initials of the three.

Ishikawa:. At the time, I didn't really understand that kind of strength, and I simply bought them because I liked the way they looked. The technique of combining something casual like sneakers with luxurious leather was fresh, and the combination of leather and white stitching was cool.
. It's 20 years old, but it's in good condition.

Ishikawa:I think I am a materialistic person, and I take good care of things I like for a long time, not only sneakers, but also other things I like to use. . Recently, I often use a laundromat in town to maintain my sneakers.
What do you think of these sneakers from about 20 years ago , and how do you feel about wearing them?
Ishikawa:To be frank, they are not good (laughs). Compared to modern sneakers, they are heavy and tiring to wear. I feel the times have changed.

Ishikawa:This is a reissue that was released about 4 years ago. . the "Air Jordan" series is my favorite, with the 1 being my favorite, followed by the 2.

Air Jordan 2 is generally considered to be the least popular model in the Air Jordan series.

Ishikawa:I like the lack of a swoosh and the design of the molded lizard part on the side. . and I also like the fact that, due to their unpopularity, not many people wear them.
