The sneaker market continues to expand, with the latest performance shoes, limited editions, collaborations, faithful reissues, and even top maisons participating. What are the perspectives of the sneaker experts, what models do they choose, and what do they actually wear? We will introduce the real shoe choices of the best sneaker freaks in the industry in a relay format. Mr. Mitsuhiro Kubo, a representative of the select store "GR8," was introduced by Mr. Ryo Ishikawa in the previous issue. We asked him to name six pairs that he particularly likes and asked him why he chose each of them and what his favorite points are.

01：NIKE_ISPA Road Warrior Volt They look and feel out of the ordinary.

Kubo-san, please tell us about your latest favorite sneakers. Let's start with Nike's "ISPA," which is an experimental project by Nike, and these shoes are quite radical and outlandish looking.

Kubo:In addition to their strong visual impact, the comfort of these shoes is also unusual. The center of gravity naturally moves forward, so standing is a strange sensation. But when you walk, you will be amazed at how easy it is. They are innovative, futuristic shoes that integrate Nike's technology.

The price is 55,000 yen including tax. This is one of the most expensive shoes on the market from Nike.

Kubo:These shoes were released in July of this year and sold at "GR8," but Nike Japan also suggested that we create content themed around these shoes, and we produced a video. This movie features Motoaki Tozono, a Japanese-style painter and former Noh actor. Thanks to the rather enthusiastic movie production, as a result, the shoes sold out immediately on the day of release.

It's amazing that such an expensive pair of shoes sold out so quickly.

Kubo:Despite the high price, our server was even down temporarily. In that sense, it is a pair that I am deeply attached to.
