The Next Step for a 100-Year Company.
Nakamuro:The reason why I want you to talk about "Monolith" is simply because you have a very critical eye. This time, as always, please share your thoughts on "Monolith" in a frank and unspoken manner.
Appearance:Nakamuro has been handling PR for Theatra since the beginning, and I have always been impressed with his work, but I have always thought that Nakamuro has a talent for creating things, even though he is from the PR field. I have been impressed by his work on "Eyevol" and other projects he has directed in the past, so I thought I would like to see his work on "Monolith" as well.

Above is a backpack from Monolith.
Other products include a tote, 2-way, shoulder, and PC case.
Nakamuro:I haven't disclosed it before, but I am actually working on the direction of "Eyevol" as well. This is a new brand of "Ivan," a long-established eyeglass manufacturer, which has already established a solid position with its acetate and metal collections. Ivan wanted to develop sunglasses that could be worn in active situations, and I directed the concept and brand name of "Eyevol," which is made by the injection method.

Eyevol" is an eyewear brand for people who enjoy fashion, sports, and outdoor activities without borders. The frames have a classical silhouette and the injection method is innovative. Injection is a lightweight and flexible manufacturing method familiar to sports sunglasses.
Appearance:In addition to Eyevol, one of Nakamuro's other impressive creations is a children's book for The North Face, which is really well done. It was really well done, and of course it had a high level of perfection, but Nakamuro's direction had a great vision. He knows what is more important than selling a product or communicating a brand.
I was impressed by how well you conveyed this important root to children through this picture book. The first step for both the producers and sellers should be to know and feel how to enjoy the snow.
I am sure that children who read this picture book would like to touch the snow! Even I, who grew up in a snow country and have come to dislike snow, thought that snow would be nice (laughs).
I thought it was wonderful that Nakamuro's poetic and emotional design was so elegant.
Nakamuro:I'm sorry (laughs).

Pictured is a picture book for children by The North Face, directed by Nakamuro. . The one on the right is from the 2015 fall/winter season. The one on the left is from the 2016 spring/summer season. The book carefully introduces how to play in the snow and rivers, as well as the animals that live there, with fresh and detailed text. The author of the book is Mr. Nakamuro himself.
Ms. Nakamuro, whom Mr. Kamide admires so much, directed the "Monolith" brand.
Nakamuro:This is a brand that has been thoroughly created for a variety of modern business and travel scenarios. Compared to conventional bags, the specifications may seem excessive. However, we have come to the conclusion that all of these specifications are indispensable for our lifestyles. The catchphrase is "Is this bag necessary?

On the right is Taisuke Nakamuro, director of "Murofis," who also directs "Monolith," which was launched in November. The interview took place at the "Theatra" store in Sendagaya, Tokyo.
Seiban is a school bag manufacturer famous for its "Tenshi no Hane" (Angel's Wings).
Nakamuro:Yes, that's right. I learned about Seiban when I started working for the company, which boasts a 30% share of the school bag industry, and is a well-established company! Seiban is a long-established company that boasts a 30% share of the school bag industry. The reason for their popularity is that they have continued to make school bags with the healthy growth of children in mind. In addition to the "Tenshi no Hane" (Angel's Spring), which eases the burden on the shoulders and increases the degree of adhesion to the body, the history of improvement after improvement of the parts called the back cage is mind-boggling.

A company that has been in business for 100 years. When a company like that launches a brand with its full potential, one's expectations are bound to be high.
