Revisiting the excitement of childhood.
You have a very sensitive antenna, but have you started to notice anything that is different from your previous tastes?
High Rock: I get a lot of ideas when I go outside, so I don't often stay inside. But since I had a period of self-restraint from going out, I thought it was a good time to buy some manga, which I had not touched since I became an adult. Reading it again, it's still good.

A child of guess" (Shueisha). The story begins when Goro, who works as an obstetrician and gynecologist in a provincial city, is visited by Ai Hoshino, an idol who is on hiatus, and who is his "guess. The unexpected turn of events was interesting. It's been a while since I've read manga, and it was very stimulating.
I bought a copy of the book "The Child of My Guess," which is published in the Weekly Young Jump Series.
High Rock: I bought this book after seeing a post on social media recommending it. From the beginning, I found the story interesting, starting with the ultra C-class landing. . I like manga stories to be unpredictable rather than royal.
I see that the title of the book means "children of my guesses. I am quite curious about it!
High Rock: I spent a lot of time outside because I have a lot of work that I can work on anywhere, but it was nice to have the time to sit down at home and read carefully.
Enjoy the "dare" to take the time and effort.
I was also able to pick up a DVD player.
High Rock: This is the same as manga , which I bought to enjoy the time I spend at home. . I was born in the Showa era, so I was able to grow up seeing the evolution of various things. For music, we went from cassette tapes to CDs , and now we are in the era of streaming distribution. However, I try to go against the grain of what has become convenient and add a little effort. Instead of playing a video with a single click, I enjoy the work as a package that includes the process of selecting, setting, and playing the DVD.

. my favorite is a documentary that follows the Ghibli studio . I have more than 10 of them. The humanity of Hayao Miyazaki and the studio surrounding him gives me courage as a creator, and it is a prescription for my heart. ." He has never seen any of Ghibli's films.
What kind of films do you watch?
High Rock: . I mainly watch documentaries. If a film is artistic, I will watch it on a big screen, but if it is a documentary, I can enjoy it while sitting on the sofa or lying on my bed. This size is sufficient. The size is similar to reading a book, so it's easy to immerse yourself in the film. This kind of thing is also surprisingly good.
Analog and digital fascination.

He uses a paper notepad when he has an idea he wants to keep, but he uses an electronic notepad for small notes and for leaving notes for family members. Choosing the best size for the intended use is also a criterion in Hiiroku's choice of things.
I enjoy the analog feel of the electronic memo itself is digital, but the feeling is that it is handwritten, right?
High Rock: I can take notes on my iPad, iPhone, and other devices, but I value the importance of handwriting, even more so because I am in the business of design. However, I don't mean to deny the future of digital, I have all the iPad series, and I'm not saying I'm a paper person without touching them, so I know the advantages of both.
I think it's more convincing when you say it, Mr. High Rock.
High Rock: Since I have more time to think at home, I have started to buy various notepads more than before in order to write down my ideas as ideas. Among them, this electronic notepad falls somewhere between digital and analog. It is not particularly linked to an app, and its simple operation, where you have to erase it after writing, is appealing.
If you don't have it, create it , creation awareness.
You kept your hands and head in motion during the period of self-restraint.
High Rock: Yes . Input and output were repeated. . and that's when I came up with the idea of this cutter mat. I like crafts and have always had a cutter mat on my desk since I was a child, but I realized that I only had a square one. I contacted Miwax, which has won a Good Design Award for its cutter mats, and they agreed to make one for me, so I ordered one in my original shape and design.

A cutter mat specially ordered for HIVISION. The logo is placed in a large size while retaining the dots characteristic of "Mi wax. Available in a total of four colors, all sold out. The idea of incorporating design into the cutter mats is unique to Mr. Hiiroku.
It's quite stylish.
High Rock: Ordinary cutter mats are square, but Miwax's mats have dots spaced 1 cm apart, so they are stylish to begin with. I also use this special-order product as a background when I introduce something on my YouTube channel "HIVISION. It gives it a bit of a crafty look.

High Rock: In addition to crafts, people seem to be using it for various purposes, such as for photographing items if they are camera people, or for interior rugs.
