Even me, you, and Huinamu are elepare.
The other day, I belatedly wrote, "The Electrical ParadesI watched "The The pain and disastrous jealousy characteristic of adolescence, and the ferocity with which it is observed and cynically laughed at. This documentary film is the result of boiling all of these things down in one pot. Just watch it and you will understand.

SHIPS
Ships Knit Pile Setup

De-mild yankee.
I have long shied away from sweatshirts. I have often tried them because of their comfort and the fashionable term "one-mile wear," but all I got was sloppiness and a mild yankee look. I was about to give up on the idea of wearing a set-up from "Ships," which I thought was largely dependent on one's natural potential (see ......), but this set-up from "Ships" showed me a big step forward for the average Japanese body type. While it is loose-fitting, it has an exquisite silhouette that is not sloppy at all. The deep blue-gray color further sublimates it into something more urban. Not only that, but because the yarn is raised at the yarn stage, it is resistant to pilling and has a smoothness that makes you want to rub it on your cheeks. What's more, this set-up is a wickedly good match for boots and bashes. You're going to be a mavens with this guy this spring.

THE UNION
The Union Bucket Hat

It is not only sunlight that should be avoided.
According to the calendar, February is spring. However, cold fronts are raging without regard to such things. I am not a fan of the freezing cold, and I am also not a fan of designs that itch. For me, a hat with earmuffs is an ideal item. The hat is made of thin wool flannel, so it is light and comfortable to wear. The ear flaps, which completely cover the ears, are made of long fur, so they are warm and fluffy. The flap can be folded inward, so there is no problem when wearing it on warm days or indoors. Not only is it functional, but we are also crazy about its charming looks.

Nychair X
Knee Chair-X Chair

A chair that looks like curry rice.
The minimalist composition of canvas, wood, and iron, and the simple structure that makes full use of straight lines. Looking at the minimalist design, I thought this chair was very recent, but it was born half a century ago. Designer Takeshi Arai created this chair to be "loved like curry rice. Curry rice" is an oddly fitting word. The "X" shape gives it just the right amount of spice. It also has a depth of flavor that will not clash with side dishes such as a beniwaren rug or a pop-patterned cushion. It can be folded up for easy portability and comes in a variety of colors. Curry tastes better after a night's rest, and this one seems to get richer and richer with each passing day.

KINTO
Aroma oil warmer in Kintoor

The trinity of steam, flame and aroma.
Whether it's a dry lager for a crisp, thirst-quenching experience or an invigorating sauna to sweat out every last drop, the on/off switch is a personal choice for everyone. Personally, I prefer to switch on and off slowly, like turning down the volume on an amplifier, rather than turning it off with a snap. Pour hot water into a glass cup and add a drop of aroma oil. Then, light a candle. This is a gradual switch to off mode through a series of such gestures. Once set, all you have to do is enjoy the droplets of water that form on the glass, the flickering of the flame, and the aroma that rises. Combined with the nostalgic look of a science experiment, the time spent relaxing will bring you back to your childhood.

We are now in the second period of self-restraint, and we are refraining from going out every day. When in the world will we be able to say that everything will be okay? They call it a new lifestyle, but I still don't know what the right answer is. I am an indoor person, so I don't have much trouble with it, but I hope it will end soon.

Hamilton
Hamilton Watches

Movies and Watches.
Personally, watches are a difficult thing to find. Not only do they differ in simple appearance, but there are so many functional choices, such as automatic, manual-winding, quartz, and even smart watches, that it is difficult to choose the right one. In this day and age, we can just look at the time on our smartphones, so I think they are more like accessories than necessities. It is more like an accessory than a necessity. From this perspective, I was personally impressed by the "Hamilton PSR," a reissue of the world's first LED digital wristwatch, the "Hamilton Pulsar," which was introduced last year. Not only does it have a retro-futuristic look, but I also thought it looked fresh and new when the LEDs were not glowing. As a side note, Hamilton watches have been worn in various movies, and there are many models that have become popular as a result. This model was worn in the "007" series and the "Men in Black" series. I think I'd like to take another look at the watch.

Lee.
Lee's Long T

100 years later.
These days, we don't know what will happen next year, or even tomorrow. We tend to think about the future, but there are times when we are reminded of the importance of accumulating what we can do now. This long T-shirt commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Lee's mascot Buddy Lee is one such example. I guess everything is like that, but no one would have thought that Buddy Lee's 100th anniversary would be celebrated when it was originally created as a sales promotion item. The illustration is by cartoonist Wisut Ponnimit, aka Mr. Tam. Tam, who lives in Thailand, where vintage is very popular, drew this American-born Buddy Lee. Is it just me, or is the fact that this product will be sold in Japan, a country with many vintage lovers, also a very exciting development? The product will go on sale on February 10 (Wed.), which is just a little while away. Oh, how I wish I could go to Thailand!

Third Drawer Down
Third drawer down muffler

You will feel lighter.
I'm a cold person, and in the winter, I don't like to go out. It is best to turn on the heater, make a pot of coffee, wrap up in a blanket, and lounge around the house. But as long as we live as human beings, there are times when we have to go outside. I found this scarf at the Third Drawer Down and David Shrigley pop-up store held at NADiff Apartment in Ebisu from the end of last year to the beginning of this year. The colorful and catchy design with "I LOST A SCARF" on the blue side and "I FOUND A SCARF" on the red side caught my attention. I think there are few artist goods like this that are particular about even the material, but this one was surprisingly made of 851 TP10T cashmere. It seems that the item was more popular than expected and is almost out of stock, so if you find it somewhere, I recommend you to get it immediately.

Montbell Gloves

Winter offerings.
Biking in winter is cold, so gloves are a necessity. However, there are many times when I touch my phone while waiting at a traffic light, so while they protect me from the cold, they are also important for ease of use. After trying various types of gloves, I found that fingerless gloves are personally easier to use than touch functional gloves. In particular, I keep coming back to MontBell's "Chamise Fishing Gloves," which are fishing gloves, because they are so easy to use. What I like about them is that they have leather reinforcement on the palm. When I ride a bicycle, the area between my thumb and index finger, where I grip the handlebars and put a lot of pressure on them, often gets sore, but these are reinforced with sheepskin leather, so I think they hurt less than usual, maybe. Some might say that I should use leather fingerless gloves, but that is not a good idea, so I use fleece "Chamise" gloves, although they are thin and a little cold. One thing to note is that these gloves are not in the regular glove section, but in the fishing section. Please take a look at these gloves, which have the feel of a hidden gem.

Marimekko
Marimekko Unikko Sweatshirt

Marimekko subtraction.
It accepts people of all ages, genders, and races in a flat manner. However, no matter who wears it, it doesn't look the same. Marimekko is fascinating. When I was in college, I owned a tote bag and a pair of socks, all with pop patterns that symbolized the brand, and everyone could see that I was definitely a Marimekko woman. However, as I passed the mid-twenties, I entered a new phase of my life. You might call it the second phase. I began to be attracted to items with a subtle subtraction. This sweatshirt is one such item. If you look closely, you can see the Unikko poppy flower floating in the air. The colors, clarity, and protagonism are stripped away, and only stitches are used in the design. The clothes tailored from a couple of steps back struck a chord with me, as I was in the middle of a fashion maze. Well, the second phase is off to a good start.

Whimsy
Wimsey's Eagle Socks

A spoonful of humor under your shoes.
Maybe it's because I bought a bicycle in the summer and recently bought some nice Tyrolean shoes, but I've learned the importance of that glimpse of it. Now I am interested in socks. This momentum, combined with the interests of those around me, led me to "Wimsey". Among the 20AW collection, I was particularly interested in this one. These socks are made from 100% natural fiber paper yarn, using "Japanese paper" as the raw material. These socks are warm in winter without being stuffy in summer, exactly the same principle as shoji screens. And if you look closely, don't you see the sock pattern floating above the sock as if it were embossed? This mischievousness makes me want to always keep them under my shoes. My sock world has now opened up.

BATONER
Butner's Dee Grease Half Zip Knit

Designing a good TAYUMI.
The head is inserted through the slightly tightened hem, and after a short period of darkness, the head is removed from the neck. When I tried these on at the exhibition, I felt a sense of comfort in such an ordinary act of wearing clothes. The fabric plays a part in this. The crisp texture is achieved by knitting cotton spun on an air spinning machine in multiple strands, and then knitting it to the maximum degree of fineness. What you will fall in love with is the tailoring of the hem, which is not exaggerated. It creates a rich and healthy tayumu, which can be worn alone or with a shirt or a high-neck knit. I bought it in a lighter gray, but a taller black would be nice, too! They also have other elegant yellows and beiges. I'll leave the interesting coloring of "Buttner" for another time.

Handmade steel chair by Haruka Kogure

A ladder that reminded me of a tachi.
When I first saw the film, I thought of Jacques Tati's films, which delivered surreal laughter and modern ideas ahead of their time to France in the 1950s. Tati's films seem to have been fashioned in such a way that they were too fashionable even for us in the 21st century. Among them, the architecture and forms on the screen sometimes tell the story more eloquently than the main characters, and can even serve as a box for the comedy that sometimes unfolds. I feel that what Haruka Kogure creates, in addition to the functional aspect that encourages some action, also leaves a blank space for the user to do whatever he or she wants. This piece here is composed of the minimum necessary sticks and surfaces, with one or two thoughtful English accents. The light gray and vermilion colors of this chair are pleasing to the eye. It looks like a toy or a piece that would be placed in an inorganic factory. I can't help but think of it as a tachi.

He is immersed in ironing.
I got excited and bought a nice steam iron. Recently, ironing shirts and other things in the morning has become a routine for me. What's good about it is that it calms my mind. I can lose myself in the task of removing wrinkles without thinking about it. In that sense, I think it might be similar to meditation or sutra chanting.

stein
Stein padded stand collar coat

Now there is no need to worry.
Aren't you cold?" I asked. I am always asked this question whenever I go to a photo shoot these days. Apparently, the reason is that I dislike thick outerwear and dress like it is the beginning of spring. Of course, I'm fine because I'm wearing something inside, but perhaps because I've been worried too much, I've come to the conclusion that it's okay to have one item like a down coat. However, a padded item is obviously over-spec for my life, and winter is almost over. Just as I was pondering this, I came across an ideal item. It is a padded stand-up collar coat from Stein. The brand is owned by Kiichiro Asakawa, owner of the Harajuku boutique "carol," and his minimalist clothes with a twist are completely to my liking. Even this coat shows as little stitching as possible, while the gun flap from the right shoulder to the chest and the waist belt add accents. By using soft and thin 20-gram and 40-gram padding, a stylish silhouette is achieved while maintaining warmth. It is light and thin, yet warm. Hence, depending on the inner layer, it can be worn for three seasons with ease.

Neat work clothes.
If you like clothes, you must have once or twice imagined what you would wear if you became a woman. There are all kinds of things that I would like to wear, but when I look at Mame Kurogouchi's clothes, I am always envious of women. Finally, Taro Horiuchi's team with T.H. has produced items that can be worn by men as well. The two have long been close friends, as they jointly manage the sewing factory "thmk. This collaboration, named "thmk," started from the desire to produce high-quality uniforms that can be worn by the factory staff on a daily basis. As per the concept, this lab coat has a practical and neat finish with large pockets and two pen holders in the left front pocket. The fact that it is uniform and workwear also tickles men's fancy.

Bose boots

Boots debut.
As a casual but avid fan of military goods, I have a longing for military boots. The rugged design and oversized feel are irresistible. The puddled feet that form when you tuck the hem of your trousers into the shoes are also strangely cool. However, I personally have two concerns about military boots. First, if they are real boots, like those worn by actual soldiers, they give off a cosplay feel. The second is that they are simply hard to put on and take off. I was looking for a variety of military-like alternatives, and the Chelsea boots from Bose seemed to fit the bill. The brand creates modern shoes by combining carefully selected rubber from Southeast Asia with leather and other natural materials. The Chelsea boot, one of its signature "GAO" series, has a calf leather upper and a military-inspired chunky sole. While ordinary Chelsea boots are too classy, these boots blend in well with everyday life. They are also surprisingly easy to take on and off, so this may be the perfect choice for your boot debut.

CANADA GOOSE × Angel Chen
Canada Goose x Angel Chen bomber jacket

Ace and rookie tag team.
It is easier to move than a coat, more compact than a down coat, and yet warmer. I have been surfing the Internet in search of such outerwear, and I finally found it. I finally found it in the Canada Goose bomber jacket. It has a wide body width, a slim fit, and a military-style rugged look. In a good sense, I think it's an "uncharacteristic" design. The designer is Angel Chen, an up-and-coming designer from Shanghai. It is a fusion of her modernity and the craftsmanship that is typical of Canada Goose. The simplicity of the design makes it possible to coordinate it with knitwear and hoodies for the current season, and shirts and cut-and-sewns for spring. The team-up between a North American prestigious brand and a rising star from Asia has made the dreary cold winter weather go away.

Peak Performance Jacket

Scandinavian design outdoor wear.
I like the minimalist, yet twisted designs of Scandinavian brands such as Acnestudios and Hour Legacy. So, what would happen if we retain that minimalism while adding functionality? My personal best answer was Peak Performance. It is a Swedish outdoor brand that enjoys overwhelming support in its home country, especially in the skiing scene. The gray and off-white color block is clean, and the red drawcords placed throughout add a nice spice. The Gore-Tex body has various pockets for ease of use. The back is stretchy, so it does not feel constrictive even when worn just right. I secretly think that after fishing, snow and mountain brands may be the next big thing.

Post Mask Strap.
Recently, I often see people wearing mask straps. It is the same feeling as a glass cord, isn't it? I love the rationality of it, the practicality, and the way it accentuates a coordinated look. I'm going to start wearing them soon, too! So, I was looking for an accessory that would add a nice touch to my modest neck, and I came across the "Means Weil" neck strap. Zoom in on the ring.
