My parents loved classical music, so music has been around me for as long as I can remember. When I was in early elementary school, my older brother gave me a music player. In it, I found Sigur Ros and Bjork. When I listened to them, I felt an affinity with the classical music I was familiar with, and it didn't feel strange at all, and because I was so young, I could listen to them without any preconceived notions. Rather, I thought Sigur Ros was classical music (laughs). From that time on, I began to select my own music.

I used to listen to Sigur Ros, and I really liked post-rock, múm, Soley, etc. . I even went to see them perform in Japan.

I have never consciously incorporated them into my sound, but I would like to incorporate the scenes I feel when I listen to a song into my own music. When I listen to someone's music, colors come to my mind. . Even if I have never been to a place, I imagine the scenery based on the colors. For example, I try to imagine the scenery that Sigur Ros would have seen, and express it in the song. . There are colors that could only be known in that song. I want to create a song with that color in mind, so it must have been influenced by other music, in no small part.
