With the intention of throwing the ball into the center of fashion.

Kaji:We're having a fashion talk today, right? Ken, what do you think?
Kagami:Didn't you do something like a dialogue on "Sanse Sanse" in Huinamu the other day?
Kaji:That's girlfinam. It's the kind of clothes you want a girl to wear, so I'm a young creative boy and three of us.conversationI did.
Kagami:I see. So this time it's a fashionable dialogue in the men's media.
Kaji:Yes, yes. I'm going to be upfront about fashion. It's like throwing a ball into the center ground (laughs).
Kagami:What if I spit out a lot of poison and it's all in the pee-pee (laughs)?
All:LOL!
You two have known each other for a long time, right?
Kagami:We knew each other since we were about 20 years old. We were assistants at the same time and would pass each other on the street. When I was with my mentor, I couldn't just stand there and talk to him.
Kaji:Roughly speaking, we are like synchronization. But strictly speaking, Ken is a little older than me.
Kagami:I am one year older than him. But we both started working as assistants at the same time, so we're almost like classmates.
How did you become friends? Was it because you both went through a difficult time as assistants?

Kagami:It's not like that (laughs). We never talked about that at all.
Kaji:We became closer after Ken came back from San Francisco. I thought it was strange that Ken went to Cisco. He was like the number one draft pick in the assistant world.
All:LOL!
Kagami:I don't think so (laughs).
Kaji:In our time, there were a lot of motivated and elite people like Shinichi Mita and Daisuke Iga. I thought Ken was the best among them.
Kagami:It's about 5th place.
Kaji:And yet Ken went to Cisco. That was great news. At the time, I had just started my own business and was wondering if I would get any work. Ken was ranked No. 1, so I was sure he had a lot of work.
Kagami:I wonder if I could have ridden the Mercedes-Benz Gelende? You failed~ (laughs).
Kaji:You had plenty of room to ride. But I thought it was great that you didn't go there. So you came back from Cisco and we started talking.
Kagami:When I was an assistant, we couldn't talk much because we were both busy. I was 26 when I came back from San Francisco, so it has been about 21 years. Kaji used to walk around naked in the summer, saying it was too hot (laughs). I also remember one day I received a phone call out of the blue saying, "Where are you? I answered that I was in Shibuya. I told him I was in Shibuya, and he said he was on his way. He showed up with a wooden bat (laughs). (laughs). I thought that was amazing.
All:LOL!

Kaji:Maybe it was also the fact that I was playing baseball (laughs). What I remember is that Ken-kun came back from Cisco and praised my work at that time. No one had ever praised me for work that I thought was good, but Ken-kun was the only one who saw it right. We started talking after that. I think it was around the time when I was finally understanding what Ken was doing, and I was drawing Milkman. Maybe it was the right time for us to understand each other and become friends.
