TAICHI-kun often wears printed T-shirts rather than plain T-shirts, but this time he is wearing a tie-dye patterned T-shirt. How did you feel when you tried it on?
It's not that I don't wear T-shirts at all, but since we have our own silk-screening studio and many of my friends around me are involved in design and clothing brands, I inevitably tend to wear T-shirts with graphic or printed designs. Actually, I wasn't a fan of tie-dye prints because they have a strong image of being gaudy, but when I tried them on, I found that the print blended well and the colors were moderately light, making them easy to style.
Do you have any tips on how to dress for the day?
I was not very conscious of how I usually dress, and I matched it to my normal style. The denim on this day is also used as work clothes, so it has some ink stains on it. I also wear a cap basically every day, and if I may say so, I have recently been into leather sandals instead of sneakers, so maybe the point was to incorporate a little elegance.
What kind of brand image do you have for "Fruit of the Loom"?
For some reason, we feel a sense of security when we find items made with "Fruit of the Loom" bodies overseas and in Japan as well. In fact, our studio has reproduced products using Fruit of the Loom hoodie bodies in the past.
Taichi, you seem to be very particular about your T-shirts because of the nature of your work.
Well, since I set up my studio, I can hardly remember buying T-shirts using the inkjet method. . Since I know the charm of silk-screening, I am particular about it. Also, I am often attracted to unusual designs and graphics that I don't see very often, rather than plain T-shirts with common logos or plain colors.
What kind of occasion or mood would you like to wear this tie-dye pattern T-shirt in?
I usually often go out by bicycle or car, so it would definitely feel good to wear it on a nice summer day. This year, I want to enjoy outdoor activities such as camping and playing in the river, so it will be useful for those occasions as well!

This T-shirt expresses a standard tie-dye pattern that is generally easy to imagine. The light colors of this T-shirt are designed with an organic feel by using a color scheme that goes well with other colors. 8,250 yen
