I think my heart would die if I didn't have music. Fishmans is the kind of music that is absolutely necessary at such times.

Do you have any criteria for selecting guest vocalists?
Mogi:Once the live concert is decided, we will come up with ideas together. I would propose a basic idea, and ZAK and Yuzuru would come up with ideas. Seishiro came from ZAK, and at first I thought, "What? How could we ask Mr. Seishiro to do this? But ZAK said, "We're recording together right now, so I'll ask him. Then he said, "Okay," and I said, "Really! Really!
That's a great idea. miu, is there any vocalist you think would be interesting to work with Fishmans now?
MIU:. it's difficult.... I can say it secretly, but I can't say such a thing in front of Mogi-san. ...... (whispering) Like Yuta Orizaka?
Mogi:I've heard the name, but maybe I've never heard the song. Hey, I'd like to listen to it now!
MIU:I have seen him perform live, and it is a very absorbing experience. I also enjoy your music because I can enjoy the sound alone, and I have the same feeling that the words are coming in as sounds. It's different from the pop style that Fishmans has, but I like his voice, so I took the liberty of imagining it. I'm afraid I can't help you. ......
Mogi:Great! I think I'm already hooked.
Mr. Orisaka certainly looks good. I would like to see it. . It is difficult to "look for someone new", isn't it? Personally, I was so impressed with UA's performance at ....... I don't think there are many people who can embody the world view of Fishmans so well. SWEET LOVE SHOWER" was also great.
Mogi:It was 2009, wasn't it? I was the one who said that I wanted to work with UA for "SWEET LOVE SHOWER," but I thought that the vitality that UA radiated when singing Fishmans' songs was extraordinary, and I also suggested that we play each other's songs. Then, for the 2011 NONONE concert, ZAK took the lead in choosing the vocalists.

I think it was the time of "A Piece Of Future" that you performed under the name "Fishmans+". You played in a lot of concerts, such as "Nanao Tabito," didn't you?
Mogi:At that time, ZAK worked very hard, and we didn't even stop rehearsing while recording with Fishmans+. After the Great East Japan Earthquake, some people asked me if this was the time to be playing music, but I was so empowered when I played at the biggest festival in Latin America with Skapara, so my answer to that question is yes. I felt strongly that it was a time when music was needed, and that we should be making music. Fishmans is very quick to come together at times like that.
It is at times like that that music can give us strength, isn't it?
Mogi:My heart would still beat without music, but I believe that my heart would die without music. I think Fishmans is absolutely necessary music for such a situation, and it must be played continuously.
