HOUYHNHNM FISHING CLUB" has gathered under the slogan of "fun, fun, fun, chill out. This time, we went to Lake Biwa, a sacred place for bass fishing! We had the luxury of being assisted by professional anglers from DAIWA. I'll tell you the results first, we had great catches, good catches, and great catches! It was a very valuable experience for us, who had been having a string of bad luck with fishing. The fishing tips and new suggestions given by the pros were all things that we can apply to our next fishing trip, and we felt that we have improved our fishing skills. Fishing is the best, after all!

Lake Biwa experience with many learnings.

All the members were able to fish safely. How was Mr. Fishhead? He was fighting with a 70cm oversized fish at a distance from everyone else! Gyo...... missed it by a long shot. I'm sure it was a Lake Biwa fish. I wish I could have shown it to everyone. ......

Komatsu:It was great! I think everyone had a big smile on their faces and were very happy.

Ishii:I was truly satisfied to be able to fish for the first time in Lake Biwa. I will never forget the moment I got a hit, reeled in and wrestled with the bass, and the excitement I felt when I caught it.

Ichikawa:That was really fun. I've been to Lake Biwa a few times, but even people who are used to it sometimes throw all day and end up bowling, so I'm glad we all caught fish.

Ikemoto:I learned the importance of how to move the rod and get to the bottom, and I also learned that it is important to be aware of the overall state of the rig, even though I was only conscious of how to move the lure. I would like to use the techniques I learned today to catch fish in other spots. I have to be diligent so that I won't be able to catch fish just because I was guided in Lake Biwa.

Komatsu:Yes, that's right. Since I was allowed to use the equipment you prepared for me today, I would like to fish with my own tackle as well. I think I will buy a "Black Label SG6101L+FS" rod and a "Rubias LT2000S" reel from Daiwa.

Hiramoto:I was satisfied because I was able to throw all the lures I had prepared for this Lake Biwa trip. I was really happy to be the first and to catch a fish over 50 cm. It is romantic to think that I caught the world's largest bass in this field, and I heard that I may see schools of Nanamaru (70 cm) class bass, so I definitely want to come back.

Ishii:Yes, I know. Let's definitely come back and try to increase the size next time! It was nice to play in nature, but I felt again that fishing is all about catching fish. It was also nice to be in the middle of the huge Lake Biwa with nothing but the water as far as the eye can see. It was great. And above all, I would like to thank everyone at TEAM DAIWA!
