Q: How do you feel about the new "SOLID" series of backpacks that will go on sale on August 16th?
Under the trees:The pockets are very impressive, and the design is just innovative.
Miyoshi:But I like that this pocket has a zipper as well as a magnet. The magnet design is certainly a typical "Monolith" detail, but the zipper makes it feel more secure.
Not only the "SOLID" series, but Monolith's backpacks are really large when it comes to the large size. How do you feel about this size?
Under the trees:In recent years, oversized clothes have taken root, so I think this bag is just right for matching with such clothes. Many of our customers also want a large bag to go with their large clothes. Also, people who have a lot of luggage can also feel comfortable with a bag as large as this one. In fact, I myself have a lot of luggage, and it always ends up being very full. So, a large bag is the best.
Miyoshi:The number of people who don't want to dress as stylishly as possible has been increasing recently, and this can be seen in the bags they are using. With a bag pack as large as this one, you can stuff everything in it, and you don't have to change your bag every time you want to coordinate it with your outfit. I think it's great that you can use it casually.
I heard that the "SOLID" series will be sold at "1LDK AOYAMA HOTEL" as well.
Miyoshi:I think it goes well with ordinary outfits, so I would like to wear it with a parka like the one I am wearing today, or with a rough outfit with sweatpants. I would like to wear it with a casual outfit such as the parka I am wearing today, or with sweatpants.

Under the trees:I would suggest a navy set-up to match the clothes we carry. I think that "Theatre" would be perfect for this purpose. It would also be nice to highlight the appeal of simple, functional, and high-quality "Monolith" bags by pairing them with ordinary styling, such as a shirt and denim.

Finally, do you have any expectations for "Monolith" in the future? Or do you have any ideas for the kind of bags you would like to see in the future?
Miyoshi:A messenger bag would be interesting. Not a full-fledged, messy one, but a minimalist design that is typical of "Monolith.
Why do you think so?
Miyoshi:In talking with other stores, I often hear people say, "We stocked messenger bags and sold out right away. I wondered who uses messenger bags nowadays? I was wondering who uses messenger bags nowadays, but I was surprised to hear that they are in demand. So I started to be a little concerned about it. It would be interesting to develop two sizes, a large size and a regular size.
How about you, Kinoshita-san?
Under the trees:I am not in a position to make requests (laughs). I would really be happy if the brand continues without any change in style. I think I will be looking forward to each new release.
BACKPACK SOLID STANDARD L Unlike existing backpack patterns, it follows the authentic shape of the "daypack" developed by an American outdoor brand about 50 years ago. The front has a magnetic pocket, but can also be opened and closed with a zipper. The fabric is the same as the "OFFICE", a hollow system "CORDURA BALLISTIC" material made of 1260 denier nylon. The zipper is a double coiled zip with water-repellent finish. The main compartment has a two-tiered zipper pocket and a gusseted staff pocket on the inside of the back for easy organization of clothing, etc. The PC case is located on the back for easy access at airport baggage checks and everyday access. ¥44,000
