01 Don't drop your phone or break the screen.

I dropped my phone and broke the screen.
I was walking along, checking the map on the app, when I tripped over my foot and it slipped out of my hand.
I picked it up in a hurry, but the screen is so cracked that I don't think I can use it as it is. I still have almost a year left on my loan...
There have been a few times in the past when it has been dangerous, but I regret that I somehow left it as it was, thinking that since I didn't break it, it would be okay.

My style is to always wear my phone around my neck with a strap.
I change my music selection often and have no sense of direction, so I check my map app frequently, and I feel very safe with the strap on my phone.
I had a bitter experience once when I was holding my phone naked, without using a case or strap, and I dropped it and broke it.
Not just any strap would do, but I started using the "Yosemite Mobile Strap," which is rumored to be robust, because there is no point in wearing it if it breaks off too soon, and I don't want to have that kind of experience again.
