What do those parents and children wear at Gap? Part 1

Gap was founded in San Francisco in 1969 as a denim and record store. Since then, Gap has grown into a national brand in the U.S. and has been updated based on American traditions, despite the emergence of many easily accessible brands. The growing popularity of the old Gap in the vintage clothing market is proof that the brand is adapting to the times. The Gap is the new hot right now. We asked 15 pairs of hip parents and their children to wear the best items for fall and winter, and took snapshots. In the first part, seven pairs appear. What do you think of the Gap?

What is it about "The Gap" that appeals to you?

Hiroaki:. I think it's all about diversity. . So I think it is an apparel brand that can meet all demands and can meet the needs of its customers.

I had an image of American casual, but Hiroaki's way of dressing is really modern.

Hiroaki:I think people have a strong impression of Gap as a basic brand, but now we are putting a lot of effort into fashion. We have many trendy fashion pieces, and I think people who like street fashion will enjoy them as well.

Are either of them size XL?

Hiroaki:Yes, they are both XL . . I tend to wear them oversized these days. Also, the logo top is my favorite. They are casual and can be worn without hesitation.

How do you see the "Gap" from your point of view?

Fukiko:I have always loved "Gap" kids' and babies' clothes, and have wanted to dress them up ever since I didn't have kids. Now that I have two children, I enjoy dressing them both up like dress-up dolls (laughs).

What is the point of today's coordination?

Fukiko:In case you are wondering, I tried to make a link coordination. . We are usually linked in some way, aren't we?

Hiroaki:They link them together (laughs). (Laughs.) I decide what to wear for my children, and then I glance at them and say, "Oh, that outfit today," and before I know it, they are dressed the same way.

Fukiko:It's kind of fun, isn't it (laughs)? . I let my dad do some things with the kids, too.

Can you tell us about your views on child rearing at the end?

Hiroaki:Anyway, I want them to play outside. . I think that will change in the future. . I think that will change in the future.
