Hailing from Kagoshima, Japan, he formed "Ame no Parade" in 2013 and made his major label debut in 2004, releasing two albums in 2008. This August, they released the single "Override" for limited distribution, and are preparing for a solo tour in Osaka, Aichi, and Tokyo in October.

What kind of daily life do you usually have?
Fukunaga:Since I spend more time at home due to the influence of Corona, I have been delving deeper into movies, manga, and TV dramas, and I have also been cooking more elaborately and making various kinds of food. I also spend money I used to spend on eating out and put it toward my hobbies. I've recently become addicted to camping, and I've bought a lot of gear. I even put most of my money into it (laughs). I recently bought a hot sandwich maker, and I use it at home while listening to music.
I was surprised that you are into camping.
Fukunaga:It's a fun way to get your gear together.
Do you think you can use Descente Posse's clothing for camping?
Fukunaga:I think I can wear it. It is GORE-TEX, so I don't have to worry even if it rains. When I went camping before, it rained on the way back and I got soaked. I thought it would be convenient to have such a wide range of pockets, and the size is also good.
What kind of fashion do you like?
Fukunaga:It is difficult to tell, because it depends on my mood at the time, but there was a time when I was attracted to costume-like things, and I bought a variety of eccentric clothes. I was attracted to costume-like clothes at times, and I tried to buy all kinds of strange clothes, like aluminum foil-like material that was so bright you couldn't see it when you opened the box when it arrived (laughs).
I also have a favorite select store, and I check out the clothes they have in stock and buy the ones I am interested in. For example, Lemaire and Auralee. Recently, I am attracted to items that can be worn for a long time.
Is that partly due to the influence of Corona?
Fukunaga:I don't know. I don't know why I have been buying so many clothes since the pandemic happened. I can't control my greed.
You buy camping gear and clothes, too (laughs).
Fukunaga:Yes, I get scattered (laughs).
Do you include clothes that can be worn both outdoors and in town?
Fukunaga:I like that kind of clothing too. Lately, I have also been into fishing, and sometimes I buy clothes thinking that I can wear them in town as well.
