What do you value in your hip-hop manner and what do you think is important about hip-hop?
It is one of the expressions that emit energies and it is important to be positive. It is important to be positive. It is not so much about having a cause, but rather about liking what you are doing. As the definition of trends and standards and approaches change with the times, the guiding principle may be "how much I like it. Fortunately, I still love it, and I think that's why I've been able to keep doing it.
Do you like it more and more?
Maybe so. ...... (laughs). I am getting older, but I am continuing to reaffirm how I felt when I named myself "YOUNG" to see if I can still call myself "YOUNG".
You released your solo album "Forgotten Folder" in August this year.
I spent a lot of time facing myself last year, and there were many things I thought about and reconfirmed. I also wanted to share those thoughts and feelings. Some of the songs are from six years ago, but I feel that now is the only time I can sing them. I named the album "Forgotten Folder" because it is a folder that I had accumulated a lot of songs, including some newly recorded ones.
