MY G-SHOCK" is a new service that allows users to create a "G-SHOCK" in the color of their choice. Based on the famous "DWE-5610" model, users can create their own one-of-a-kind watch by combining their favorite colors for the dial, bezel, belt, belt loop, and buckle. The total number of combinations is said to be as many as 1.9 million. This time, the "MY G-SHOCK" challenge will be taken on by Nakamura Rinmu, whose BMX freestyle performance at an international sports festival is still fresh in the mind. The item created by Nakamura, who bears the Japanese flag on his back and takes on the challenge of competing against the world, is a one-of-a-kind coloring that only Nakamura could have created, which shows his enthusiasm and spirit.

Rinmu Nakamura / BMX rider

Born in 2002 in Kyoto , Japan. Influenced by his father, a former BMX rider, he started riding bicycles at the age of 2. In 2015, he won the 13-15 year old class of the RECON TOUR in the U.S., and in 2016, he won the G-SHOCK Real Toughness competition, making his name known around the world. Since then, he has been active in various world competitions and has represented his country at international sports festivals.

A watch is a necessary tool. I usually wear a G-Shock.

G-SHOCK" was born in 1983, adding the concept of "toughness" to watches. The brand has pioneered a new vector of "unbreakable" timepieces by rejecting the notion that watches should be fragile, even when dropped. The first G-SHOCK model, the DW-5000C, symbolized the brand's identity with a simple dial surrounded by a square bezel and a design reminiscent of a sturdy tire. The "MY G-SHOCK" service allows customers to customize the color scheme of the dial, bezel, belt, belt loop, and buckle to their own taste based on the DWE-5610, a standard model that continues the G-Shock lineage.

Nakamura will turn 20 next year, but even though he is still in his teens, his speech reveals a calmness and a certain confidence.

I don't have a coach, so I take care of myself and try to set a regular sleeping and practice schedule and stick to it. So a watch is a necessary tool for me, and I usually wear a "G-SHOCK" so that I can keep myself on track.
