KEYWORDS_01 Floors, walls, and ceilings. An aging process that reproduces exquisite nuances.
To begin with, what does "Timber Crew" do? Simply put, they are a building materials company that makes floors, walls, and ceilings for apparel brands, restaurants, and other stores, as well as corporate offices. Their main clients are interior designers, and their job is to process the wood according to their orders.

A prototype that reproduces the flooring of a gymnasium.
For example, if a client wants old wood like that of an old gymnasium, it is almost impossible to get the required square footage of old wood alone, due to the cost and time required. What is required, then, is the aging process, which is Timber Crew's greatest strength. In order to reproduce the interior designer's image, we process the wood by creating original color tones, scarring, and sometimes using unexpected techniques.
Of course, it is not only color tones that are expressed. By adding changes to the way processed flooring materials are applied, such as straight type, herringbone, parquet, etc., we can bring the space closer to the client's image.
It may seem surprising, but sample production before mass production is the job of the sales representative who receives the order. Based on this, the factory team begins the processing work. Why do salespeople make samples? Normally, one would think that all the actual work would be the domain of the factory staff, but there is a reason for this division of roles.
The best way to avoid discrepancies is to have staff members who have spoken directly with the client," says Mr. Akado, a sales representative. If the wood from the factory is different from the client's image, the sales staff may request revisions.
