FOCUS3 "SERA . TOTONOU (revitalize) with shisha and lemon sour.
The next stop on our Kuramae stroll is the last. To close out the evening, we visited "SERA," where you can chill out with a shisha and lemon sour. The two jokingly say, "We come here when we want to make a move (laughs)," but it seems that their real purpose is something else.
I come here to meet the owner, Mr. Michioka, who is like a big brother to me. He is like an older brother in Kuramae, and we first met him when he came to our restaurant when we had just opened. He was very frank with us regardless of our age, and when we went to "Sera" later that day, we found it to be very comfortable. We often go there with a large group, so sometimes we can't get in these days (laughs).
As they both said, Mr. Michioka's friendly personality is so apparent to us, the interview team, as well. He is always asking, "Where did you go today? He is a natural at bringing us closer to each other.

Mr. Michioka is from North Village, a café that is leading the shisha scene in Japan. Of all the alcoholic beverages, is there a reason why he recommends lemon sour, and why did he open a restaurant in Kuramae, which is not known for shisha?
. to begin with, 'Sela' is a restaurant that I run with my partner. Shisha is my life's work. We both loved Italian food culture, so we started out by making a version of the Italian home brew Lemoncello called Lemoncello Soda Wari, but no one ordered it because the name was too long (laughs). So we decided to change the name to "Lemon Sour" to make it easier to understand, and here we are.
What is good about Kuramae is that there are many young stores. As the number of stores of the same generation increases, horizontal connections expand. Of course, "Asahiichi & KEBOZ" is no exception. It is interesting to see how different genres are mixed together like music.
. Because it is a town where nothing used to exist, there is a high degree of freedom. . Because of the rough connection between stores, they are able to stimulate each other. The owners of stores in Kuramae, far from the trend-setting areas, seem to be forming their own culture at their own pace and embodying what they like.
