May I ask you about your dream?
KEN THE 390 (KEN):Now, may I first introduce myself?

From left, woman one dates only with the purpose of having sexManabu Shirakawa, man who is uninterested in romance
Ishii:My name is Kenta Ishii, I am 19 years old, and while attending Bunka Fashion College, I run an apparel brand called "ILL" and am also a DJ. I started the brand because I felt frustrated that I was the only one who wasn't making a fuss while everyone around me was making a fuss. I wanted to be a badass, and I wanted to be "ILL," and that's how I came up with the name "ILL.
KEN:I like "ILL" , it sounds like hip-hop. In hip-hop, a slightly negative word can be taken as a positive one, such as "That's a hell of an ILL" or "That's SICK. Normally, people would think it's "sick," but it's nice because they think it's a compliment.
Shirakawa:My name is Manabu Shirakawa. I am 21 years old, and while attending Waseda University, I am working on a free newspaper in a club called "ENJI. 100 people are involved, but only about 30 are actually working. We do the photography, writing, and layout ourselves.
KEN:That's great, making a free newspaper . There are definitely more people there than in any other editorial office, and I don't think there are many places with an editorial department of 30 people. I've met Zukiko several times. I have known you since you were quite young (laughs), but you are only 18, right?
Zukiko:I'm 19 years old (laughs). I'm an event organizer, a radio personality, a DJ, a producer, etc., etc., etc., etc. I work in hip-hop.
KEN:You really do a lot of things, don't you? . While taking this self-introduction into account, may I ask what you all want to do in the future?

Ishii is wearing an anorak that was launched at the "Offshore" pop-up in February. It can be folded into a bag, and the number of pockets can be ordered as desired, among other elaborate specifications. It is available in two colors, yellow and black.
Ishii:. My goal for the near future is to make uniforms because I love soccer. We play futsal, and it would be cool to wear matching ones and go to tournaments together. Ultimately, my biggest dream is to create an era. Creating my own era or culture is the ideal that I think is the coolest. . It's just my ego.
KEN:If you're going to do it, it's better to do it that way. What happens when you create an era?
Ishii:It's like Kenta Ishii is engraved in the history of the world. Nowadays, people say, "The 90s and 00s were great," but I want to be like, "The year 2030 was great," or "Oh, it's Ishii, isn't it?
KEN:Is it like what Ishii-kun thinks is good becomes the standard for the world? Even if they are not exactly the same, are there people who have a similar image?
Ishii:NIGO®︎ and Seiko Ito are well known to those in the know, or perhaps they are the ones who have created the era.
KEN:. and that's exactly what Seiko is, an original rapper. Sei-ho!" Seiko was the first to say "Make some noise! was also first said by Seiko-san. In English, "Everybody Say Ho" is followed by "Scream," but the literal translation was "Shout," and people didn't know how to shout. So I thought "Scream" would be a more natural way to get people to shout, and they got excited, and now we are doing the same thing (laughs). It would be great if it becomes a tradition and everyone imitates it without knowing anything about it. It would be nice if it became a tradition, so that everyone would imitate it without knowing anything about it.
Shirakawa:I am currently making a free paper for my circle and also working part-time as a scullery worker in the editorial department of a magazine. I know there are online magazines, but I think it's cool to work in a physical medium such as print media. In the end, I would like to do work that spreads the word about things that I find interesting or cool, even if it is not in a magazine.

Shirakawa is enrolled in "ENJI." is a student organization at Waseda University that was launched in October 2009 with the concept of "fashion de waseda wo kaeru" (fashion is a frog). The students do everything from coordination to design, and publish three free newspapers a year.
KEN:That's very magazine-like in its thinking. So you prefer paper now? We grew up with paper, but I thought everyone was more of a digital generation. Is there an atmosphere that analog records are cool?
Shirakawa:That's the feeling I get around here. It's like collecting. Everyone buys records.
Zukiko:Yes , I understand. I would like to do it as a hobby. I have done a lot of things, and producing is what I want to do most right now. To put it simply, I want to be Kanye. Kanye West!
Men:Oh!
Zukiko:I want to create a new sound. I want to keep the roots of hip-hop and see how much I can add new sounds and make it part of the culture. I want to produce like Khaled (DJ Khaled).

Past flyers for ADVANCE, an event that Zukiko is organizing. She also has a radio program called "ADVANCE TIME" on "WREP" every Tuesday at 20:00. . Since last year, she has also been organizing an event called "TOKYOMOVE.
KEN:Producing is a lot of things, and connecting people is producing too. I'm in the hip-hop scene, and I think that's how it's going to be in the same generation.
Zukiko:I have been working on it since last month, and it is in the process of production. There are still some difficulties, but what I am looking for has not yet become a reality, and I hope to make adjustments from now on to make it closer to perfection.
