SO NAKAMEGURO Director
He joined 1LDK in 2009. After working as a director, he now works as a 1LDK advisor.
In 2018, he launched SO SHOP&HOSTEL NAKAMEGURO , where he serves as director.
The sporty design fits the mood of today's fashion.
Miyoshi-san, please tell us about your recent footwear situation.
Miyoshi:As the weather has warmed up in the spring , I have more opportunities to wear white sneakers. I don't have a specific color in mind, but in winter, I tend to wear darker, more subdued colors, and in spring, I wear white more often. For Reebok, I've been wearing the Eames collaboration a lot lately. I was also interested in the "Classic Leather.
Last year, you made a special order of "Club Sea" for "1LDK". Did you always wear "Club Sea" a lot?
Miyoshi:Yes, I wore them often. Also, the "Classic Nylon" has made many appearances. I really like its volume. . I was also interested in "Cresic Leather" along the same lines.
You are wearing the new "Classic Leather" this time, but the form is different from the "Club Sea", isn't it?
Miyoshi:The sole of "Classic Leather" is thick. That's why it has more height. . The overall impression is sharper than that of the "Club Sea.
Reebok is well known in Japan for the Pump Fury, but when I go to Europe, everyone wears the Classic Leather and Club Sea. I get the impression that they are the standard for white sneakers. I think they are very well established in Europe because their roots are in the U.K. . But when I look at them as white sneakers, I feel that they are still in their infancy in Japan. So I think they are good for people who don't want to wear the same pair as others.
Do you remember the first time you wore Reebok shoes?
Miyoshi:When was that? I don't remember...
Did you go through "Pump Fury"?
Miyoshi:. Oh, you had a color called the Hong Kong return model. I could not buy it in Japan, so I got it when I went to Hong Kong for the first time.
You collaborated with Chanel on a model, right?
Miyoshi:There was . That was cool. Reebok has a bit of a maniacal image, doesn't it?
. And only recently have you started wearing "Club Sea" again.
Miyoshi:I've been wearing "Club Sea" a lot for the past few years , I think about 3 years ago. I saw the collaboration with "JJJJound" and thought it was a great idea. A friend of mine who used to work in a clothing store used to wear "Club Sea" a lot. That's why I didn't get involved with them, but after the collaboration model came out, I became a fan at once. Then, I was asked to make a special-order model for "1LDK.
This series of shoes by Reebok may be classified as court shoes, but they still have an athletic feel to them, which is great. They are now seen as a fashion item, but they were originally designed for sports. I think that the design has kept this style and fits in with the mood of today's fashion.
Ms. Miyoshi found these "Classic Leather" for kids at a thrift store. The voluminous silhouette is irresistibly cute. Even though they are for kids, they are well-made and attractive.
