Coordinates with a firmly traditional mindset.
Today, I asked the client to create a self-decoration using gray shoes from "New Balance".
Takesaki:For one thing, I coordinated my outfits in one tone of gray. Sweatshirts are the most common gray clothing, and I often wear them myself, but I thought that would be too unrefined, so I wore a mesh set-up. I added a hat and a long T-shirt to give the outfit a casual feel, which I think is in keeping with my own style.
The shirt and slacks give off a traditional mindset similar to that of "New Balance".
Takesaki:Yes, I did. I wanted to make it beautiful.
What did you think of the "327" model when you tried it on?

MS327SAC ¥10,900+tax (scheduled to go on sale in mid-April) This pair features a retro form that rearranges the numerous racing shoes that dominated the 70's. The striking design with the big "N" logo only on the outside is one of its charms. The striking design with the big "N" logo only on the outside is also an attractive feature.
Takesaki:It looks sharp because it is based on a running shoe. I think it's innovative that the iconic "N" logo is larger and not on the inside. I often see them around town. I often have models wear them when I style them for work.
What did you have in mind for this self-coordination?
Takesaki:When I wear "New Balance" shoes, I usually wear them with bottoms that are hemmed. Rather than hiding the shoes with the hem of the pants, I want to show them off. That is why I chose nylon easy pants and a top that is a shirt but has a coach jacket-like design. It has a casual mood, but at the same time it is elegant.
I see that you also have a trad mindset here.
Takesaki:Yes, it is. At first glance, it may look small and clean, but upon closer inspection, you may say, "Hmm? It's casual. That's what I'm aiming for.
I'm wearing the "996" here.

CM996CB2 ¥13,800+TAX This popular model is an exquisite reproduction of the original silhouette of the 996, which has been a long-time favorite since its introduction in 1988. The dual-layer midsole with C-CAP for superior cushioning and the PU insole provide comfort.
Takesaki:What I like about it is the color. I think the "steel blue" color, which I mentioned earlier, is cool. This color is close to "1300" and has a sense of luxury. It's a color I couldn't afford in the past, but now that I'm in my 40s, I'm ready to take on the challenge (laughs).
Incidentally, I also have a pair of "574" on hand. If you were to wear them in your own way, how would you coordinate them?

ML574EVG ¥9,900+TAX The 574 is the brand's most iconic model. This gray-clad pair is even more iconic. With excellent cushioning and grip, the 574 offers outstanding comfort. Starting this season, some of the "574" models have been elevated to a sustainability program, using environmentally friendly and eco-friendly materials and work processes.
Takesaki:This is a really classic model. I myself used to wear "576s," so I'm familiar with them. They go with any outfit, and I think they go really well with the denim line of the "MET24" apparel line. However, if I were to wear them myself, I would look like an "American casual" guy if I wore them with denim. (Laughs) For example, I would like to wear tech pants. (Laughs) I want to take it in a more sophisticated direction. For example, tech pants.
