What were your first impressions when you actually tried them on?
Masaaki:The boots are easy to walk in , and the coat is lightweight. Overall, the most important thing for us was that we felt "at home. The team at "etude" seems to be very conscious of the fact that it fits in as "life wear" from the viewpoint of fashion and people's daily lives. I felt that the team at Etude is very aware of the need to fit in with people's daily lives as "life wear.
Nobuyuki:For example, the coat has plenty of fabric on the sleeves, but it is not exaggerated. The side benches, too, are designed to show the material underneath, but at the same time, they act as details that let air in on the inside of the coat. The belt loops are also accented, and the ventilation bulges at the back are also meticulously created. I was amazed at how well the balance was achieved in terms of both product and creation through the refinement of the form.

This coat is a representative piece from the first collection created by "etude". Nobuyuki, what points were important to you in the process of self-decoration?
Nobuyuki:Masaaki's styling would be basic and focused on his own personal everyday style, so my intention was to take a slightly different angle, drawing on the spirit of Etude and the atmosphere created by this brand and the new Aigle.
Masaaki:. You also have a usual style that brings feelings toward the creator, don't you?
Nobuyuki:When I actually saw the collection in the store, I felt that it was very "Etude" in the way it was modernized with graphics and sporty materials while adding street nuances. I especially felt their creations in the fabric texture and color palette of this coat, so I coordinated the color tones with the three members of "Etude" who captured "Aigle" in a way that made me feel as if I was matching the focus of the collection with them. . I thought of an outfit that would fit in with the city of Tokyo, linking the pants with graphics made of a shiny material and the graphics on the "Aigle" T-shirt.
Masaaki:What I thought was interesting about Nobuyuki's talk was that I myself think there is a unique sense of creation in " etude ", and we direct our own photo shoots, design and publish our own work. They are a new type of creators who are good at editing, and they have a broad perspective, taking the stance that they do not need to be only designers. One of these is graphics, and I think Nobuyuki caught on to that.
Masaaki's Coat Style

Masaaki:I focused on how Aigle has changed with the addition of the three members of Etude. . What I felt most was that it had become more urban and modern. For example, nowadays, when choosing clothes, some people think, "Why don't I wear the same clothes when I go to nature and when I go to the city? I think there is a way of thinking about it. This coat, for example, is a coat that has been designed with both nature and the city in mind, and the design and functions have been stripped down with conviction, and it looks genuinely cool when worn. . That's why I thought it would look good styled in an urban, modish way with a white shirt, black slacks, and leather shoes.
