MoonStar is known for its Vulcanized manufacturing method, which produces sneakers of exceptional quality, but in fact, MoonStar has another strength. MoonStar is known for its Vulcanize manufacturing method, which produces high quality sneakers that are rarely seen anywhere else in the world. This method involves injecting a special rubber sole material into a mold and bonding it to the upper at the same time as the sole is molded. Although it has a strong image as a mass-produced, inexpensive shoe manufacturing method, it is an excellent manufacturing method that achieves a high level of fit and cushioning, so much so that it is called "shoes with soles on socks" in other countries.

This is the injection machine, the key to the manufacturing process. As you can see, the soles are attached to the uppers one after another in this large-scale device.
The main raw material for the sole installed in the Thick Injection series is a special rubber. MoonStar also produces its own materials. The high quality is achieved through the unique blending of oils and foaming agents.

The upper with inner sole is placed in the machine, and the sole is injection molded by injecting special rubber. The outsole pattern is also formed at the same time.
Sneakers made by the injection manufacturing method have a minimalist appearance that is unique to industrial products. MoonStar makes the most of this, producing simple, lean sneakers and sandals.

MoonStar's mission is to create sneakers that can be worn by everyone. Therefore, MoonStar products must not only be comfortable and durable enough to be worn for many years, but they must also be mass-producible. It is difficult to meet these requirements while incorporating the functionality and fashionability required in the modern age, but it is extremely rewarding. I believe that new things can only be created through a fusion of quality and tradition cultivated over a long history and the creativity of modern sensibilities.

We design sneakers armed with Moonstar's two pillars: the vulcanizing method and the injection method. The Fine Vulcanized series sneakers create a sense of old-fashioned craftsmanship, so we design items that take advantage of the rustic feel of canvas and the faded look of the material. On the other hand, the Chic Injection series sneakers have a cool, industrial feel that only mass production can bring, so we try to design simple sneakers that make the most of that appeal. Whenever we make any product, we strive to adjust the comfort and appearance to the millimeter, while at the same time creating a unique Moonstar look.

MUDGUARD ¥14,000+TAX
The new "MUDGUARD" is a low-cut version of the "ALWEATHER," an all-weather sneaker that has been a big hit for its high water resistance and sophisticated design. The easy-to-coordinate coloring, such as navy and green, is also a plus.

GYM CLASSIC ¥7,900+TAX
This model is a modern reproduction of training shoes produced in the 1960s. The silhouette is kept clean and the specifications are more durable by reproducing the manufacturing process of those days, which has now been simplified.

LOW BASKET K ¥12,000+TAX
This series uses Kurume Kasuri, a traditional Kurume craft, for the upper. On the left is the "LOW BASKET K," woven with oxford fabric using indigo-dyed warp and logwood-dyed weft yarns. The color changes slightly depending on the light. On the right is "DECK SPORT K," which expresses a chamofla pattern using a traditional manufacturing method. The unique pattern with an uneven look is attractive.

RALY" is made using the injection manufacturing method. The smooth adhesion between the sole and upper, which is unique to this manufacturing method, is utilized to create a minimalist look that eliminates waste.
