He is the Vo. and Gt. of the band "Hitsuyo Bungaku", which was formed in 2012 and changed its lineup to the current one in 2005. They released their new album "our hope" in April this year, and will start their first nationwide tour "Hitsuyo Bungaku TOUR 2022 "OOPARTS"" in May.

The band name stays in my head and when I checked out the music video, I cried because it was a great song.

Nishimoto:I brought flowers today because I am going to meet Moeka. I heard she likes flowers.

Salt Mound:Wow! Really? I love tulips. Thank you!

Nishimoto:Surprisingly, I like cute things.

Salt Mound:It's a mystery, isn't it, Nishimoto-san?

Nishimoto:I love Sanrio and stuff. I just love Taabo.

Salt Mound:You like stamps too, don't you?

Nishimoto:I have a habit of collecting. People tend to think I like hard things because of my appearance. I also like beautiful things.

I asked Mr. Shiotsuka because he was the person you wanted to meet, but it's almost like we've never met before, right?

Salt Mound:I met him for the first time at GEZAN's concert at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall the other day. At that time, he taught me many things about music, but I didn't understand any of it... (smiles).

Nishimoto:I like pretty weird genres, and I'm an occasional DJ. I go to record stores like "Trasmundo" and "Los Upson?" I also go to parties.

I got to know Moeka-chan through a former member of a design group called Ildozer, Hiroshi Iguchi, who used to play "Step" by Sheep Literature when he was DJing. I asked him, "Whose song is this? He told me, "It's Hitsuyo Bungaku. The name of the band stuck in my head, and when I went home and checked out the music video, it was a really good song that made me cry.

Salt Mound:Thank you lol.

Nishimoto:From there, I fell in love with them. I started checking out various sound sources and music videos. I once went to a live concert, but I was seated in front of the speakers. That caused a lot of damage to my left ear (laughs). I couldn't make much noise at the Corona. I wanted to dance a little. But the concert was great. I am happy to be able to talk like this today.

Salt Mound:I'm glad you're listening to us so much.

Nishimoto:I like them purely as music, rather than as fans. I like Hersh Noise, but I also like bands that are Emo-ish, like Sheep Literature, and grunge-ish. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music. I also like trance, speedcore, and gabba.

Salt Mound:I am not familiar with genres. In particular, electronic music has more detailed genres than rock music. I don't really know how they differ. I like it, though.

Nishimoto:I don't think you need to worry too much about genres, because people just put them on their own. It's an afterthought.
