eastern Japan (esp. Kamakura or Edo, from perspective of Kyoto or Nara)We are the same age, but Ayumi is my senior.
middle of a fieldI've been working since I was 13 years old (laughs).
eastern Japan (esp. Kamakura or Edo, from perspective of Kyoto or Nara)But, you know, I didn't look at the magazines that Ayumi was active in at the time... (laughs). . I liked Harajuku-style clothes, so I read different magazines. . So I didn't recognize Ayumi until after we joined the same office.
middle of a field I'd heard we were the same age, so I wondered what kind of girl she was, and I wanted to meet her. In fact, when I met her , she was really just as I had imagined. I thought we seemed to hit it off on our own, but we really did hit it off (laughs).
eastern Japan (esp. Kamakura or Edo, from perspective of Kyoto or Nara)We get along really well (laughs). . I used to work mainly in the entertainment field, mainly in video, so modeling was a challenge for me.
middle of a fieldAlso, video relations are different, like movement.
eastern Japan (esp. Kamakura or Edo, from perspective of Kyoto or Nara)So I had a lot to learn, from posing to everything.... I had a hard time asking questions to senior models because I basically learn by watching, but Ayumi is the same age as me, so I could easily ask her about things that were difficult to ask, and she really helped me out.
middle of a fieldThat's right~. When I first started modeling, I used to copy the moves of older models and watch them in magazines, but it is very difficult to know how to show clothes, style, and facial expressions. I used to study these things at home in front of the mirror. But as an adult, it takes a lot of courage to go out of your way to watch other people being photographed.
eastern Japan (esp. Kamakura or Edo, from perspective of Kyoto or Nara) . there will be times when you will think, "I don't like that.
middle of a fieldBut Asami was totally fine with it.
eastern Japan (esp. Kamakura or Edo, from perspective of Kyoto or Nara)I really appreciated the opportunity to watch the movements at the same site, and I learned a lot since it is not something that can be learned immediately after watching it. . So even though Ayumu is the same age as me, I really feel like he is my senior.
middle of a fieldI see (laughs). (Laughs.) Since Asami has been working in the field of film for a long time, I have learned a lot about how to pose and make facial expressions like that. I tend to move to the sound of the shutter, but you have a very natural flow. I use that as a reference. But I guess it is rare for us to get along so well as adults.
eastern Japan (esp. Kamakura or Edo, from perspective of Kyoto or Nara)When we met, we were both also yoga and Pilates instructors, so we have a lot in common in that sense.
middle of a fieldI wanted to continue modeling for a long time, so I started yoga to get rid of the lack of exercise and to keep my style, but I'm glad I can do it at my own pace.
eastern Japan (esp. Kamakura or Edo, from perspective of Kyoto or Nara)I also feel that Pilates strengthens the inner muscles, and I started as an instructor to deepen my understanding of Pilates a bit more, so I've been doing it for a very long time.... Has your posing changed since you started?
middle of a fieldThe firmness of the torso helps stabilize poses, and when I was nervous, I was able to relieve it with my breathing, so I can use this in modeling as well.
eastern Japan (esp. Kamakura or Edo, from perspective of Kyoto or Nara). I was also told that my neck and décolleté lines have become more beautiful, so I feel that I am making great use of this in my current work.
middle of a fieldI'd like to keep doing yoga because it makes me feel beautiful inside and out, and I can combine my hobby and work with what I love to do, and our relationship!
eastern Japan (esp. Kamakura or Edo, from perspective of Kyoto or Nara)Yeah, I guess so (laughs). I'll keep in touch with you.
