TETSUO / Manager, Guru's Cut & Stand

TETSUO / Works at Guru's Cut & Stand, a salon in Yutenji that celebrated its 13th anniversary this June. He is a bass angler who loves to use old tackle and specializes in topwater lures.
You're using a very old reel, aren't you?
I use a reel from the 60's made by a company called "Shakespeare. . It's difficult to operate, but it's cool and gets me excited. . Because it is old, the structure is simple, and it is easy to maintain by myself.
Have you caught any fish lately?
I've been going to Lake Ashinoko so much that I'm starting to figure out the patterns and catch fish . until about 5 years ago, I couldn't catch any fish at all .

You asked him to wear it as a set-up , how do you like it?
The fabric feels nice. Even though it is a synthetic fiber, the texture is not terry and shiny, which I like. The many pockets are also convenient. . My usual size is XL, but M is also good.

. The pants were worn as shorts, but they can also be worn as long pants.
Convertible pants are very popular in vintage clothing. They are easy to adjust in the fall because of the change in temperature and can be worn all year round.
What kind of outerwear do you wear every year?
Light outerwear is the most common. I wear them without distinguishing between daily life and fishing. I often wear military stuff, and I like rugged designs like this collaboration.

What is your goal?
. bluefish, like sunfish, on lures. . I catch a lot of fish because I just chase the nabura. . When I catch a fish, I bring it to the restaurant and everyone enjoys it.

What kind of image do you have of "PFG"?
Last year, you supported Mr. Takumi Ito, who won a bass fishing tournament (B.A.S.S Bassmaster Elite Series) in the U.S. . So, "PFG" has a strong image of fishing and outdoor activities.
How do you feel when you actually wear it?
I like the way the collar stands up. Sometimes I don't think I need a hood on my jacket , so it gives me more styling options. I usually wear only black, so beige is fresh and easy to match with other clothes I own.

The cap looks good on you.
I see that the cap can be corded. I think the pockets are a nice accent too.

. I am targeting sea bass in the canals of Tokyo Bay. . Rather than the ocean, I like the canals that run through the city because they have a street feel to them.
Tokyo has many points for sea bass, doesn't it?
It is close and easy to get to. . also, I would like to try trout in the river this year.

You wore the set-up, how did you feel about it?
I like jackets with lots of pockets. I have no problem going empty handed. The mesh lining is breathable and not stuffy, and I think it slides on well even when layered, so it's not stiff. The wide front placket is also an accent, giving it a 90's HIPHOP feel.
How about pants?
The pants are tapered and have a nice silhouette. They have an updated military look and are easy to wear. They are khaki but soft and not earthy , so they are easy to use.

The hat and bag are black.
It definitely goes with any item. The bag is the right size , and the hat has a nice shape. The pockets on the hat are unusual and unique.

The coloring is orange.
The material is soft, so it doesn't look too crisp. The colors are easy to match.
