About a little special authenticity this summer.

When we think of sneakers that look good in summer, the Vans "Authentic" sneakers come to mind. The flat face of the Authentic sneaker blends in with both the usual denim and tanned shorts styles with a light touch. The new "Authentic 44 Deck DX" from the Anaheim Factory Collection, which has a classic appeal, has a finish that will make "VANS" fans drool. We asked Tetsuro Hori of Surf & Tailor MOAT and Takuya Shimada of Vans PR, two of Kansai's top Vans enthusiasts, about its appeal, and shot the styles of six people who actually wear these shoes on the street.

What did you like about the Authentic 44 Deck DX when you saw it in person?

The shape of the shoes seems flatter than usual, and I really like that they are closer to the old shape.

- What kind of outfits would you like to wear with it outside of summer?

Red itself is my favorite color, so I wear it in all seasons. I feel that it goes well with my style, so I would like to wear it without hesitation to give it a good taste.

Do you have any rules or points that you usually pay attention to when wearing "Vans" sneakers?

. I often want to match it with workwear or other earthy items.

I like that the sole is soft yet stable and easy to wear . The bright colors and subtle stitching are also cute!

What is the point of today's coordination?

While highlighting the bright red of the shoes, I tried to balance the boyish atmosphere with a feminine handbag.

- What kind of outfits would you like to wear with it outside of summer?

. I would like to pair it with rough denim and an animal fur coat in the winter. . In early fall, it would be great with slacks and a tailored jacket.
