I was fascinated by the strength of the coloring, and I remember feeling fashionable even as a child. After that, I wore the clear watches of the 5600 series. When I was in junior high or high school, I wore a white 5600 series watch with yellow-green and purple colors. I loved an American professional wrestler named Jeff Hardy , and his colors were like that. I remember buying one with my New Year's gift. G-Shock watches are tough, so you can wear it all the time. I was the kind of person who didn't like to take it off every time I went to the bathroom or something (laughs). I used to go to the beach a lot back then, and I would sweat a lot when skateboarding, so I thought it would be nice to be able to wear it in the rain without worrying about it.

"Sturdy and strong. That is the first image that comes to mind. Also, I used to like to read street and backstreet magazines from the 90's, so I have that impression as well. Considering that, I think it has a long history and is a classic item.

I'm fascinated by the fact that the designs we thought were 'cool' when we were kids are still there, and the style has been maintained throughout the years. That's why I'm genuinely happy to be able to be involved in the design this time. It was the first watch I bought with my own money, so I put my heart and soul into the design.
