The secret to quick drying.

Based on vintage shirts from the 50s to the 70s, this is NANAMICA's standard shirt with five buttons on the front and a rounded hem. It is made of a covered core yarn fabric with cotton yarn wrapped around a polyester core, making it a functional shirt that dries quickly, is lightweight, and durable, even though it looks like a broadcloth shirt at a glance. In addition, it has a roomy body, resulting in a relaxed sizing. In addition to saxophone, the shirt is available in off-white, dark navy, and charcoal.

Even when soaking wet, if you hang it in a well-ventilated place, after an hour it will be slightly damp under the arms and cuffs, and after two hours it will be so dry that you will forget it was wet. It also seems to be somewhat resistant to wrinkling, which makes it very useful!

Why does it dry so quickly even though it is cotton to the touch? It is because the fabric called "covering core yarn" is made of cotton wrapped around a polyester core. That's why it looks and feels like cotton. At a quick glance, no one would think it is a functional material.

Although invisible to the eye, the polyester core also does a great job. In addition to the water absorbency of cotton, the polyester's water absorption and diffusion function means that moisture is quickly diffused throughout the fabric and dries quickly.
