01 COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS Comme des Garcons Homme Plus

The show was held in an inorganic space of bare concrete with a long, narrow runway.
A punk clown in the modern age.
COMME des GARCONS Hommes Princes returns to the Paris stage after a two and a half year absence. The show was held on the second floor of a building along rue Capucine in Opéra, in the heart of Paris. The show was held in an extremely simple setting, with black boards covering the windows of the bare concrete hallway to prevent natural light from entering, and a long and narrow L-shaped runway placed in the center of the space. The theme of the collection was "ANOTHER KIND OF PUNK. The theme was based on the motif of a clown who was in charge of sending advice to his lord in the medieval times. The masks were about 100 years old and had been acquired in London, giving the collection a strange persuasive power and depth. Coats with pannier hems, loose sarouel pants, jackets exaggerated with folds, and other clothes that transcend gender, seem to have an overwhelming power and strength. In an age where uniform fashion dominates, the presence of COMME des GARÇONS Hommes Princes clearly stands out.
