TEPPEI is a fashionista who has been going right down the middle of the fashion spectrum, but I hear that he is also an extraordinary shopper.
TEPPEI: Yes, I buy clothes like an idiot every day. I think I'm insane (laughs). (Laughs.) The act of buying clothes is a part of my daily routine.
Have you always been motivated by fashion and shopping?
TEPPEI: It's not high or low, I'm sure the averages are about that high. . I visit stores, and before I go to bed, I always look at secondary websites. Of course, not all of my clothes are for myself, but I often buy clothes for photo shoots.
You say that "shopping" has become an everyday activity that is special to ordinary people.
TEPPEI: So, you receive something every day. This morning, as I recall, a large cardboard box arrived as well.

. In your daily shopping, is there a moment when you become more enthusiastic than usual, like "I definitely want this! Do you have moments in your daily shopping when you are more enthusiastic than usual, like "I really want this!
TEPPEI: When I find an archive I've been looking for for a long time, or something I couldn't afford to buy when I was younger, I get a big kick out of it.
Do you sometimes choose things because they are environmentally friendly?
TEPPEI: . If it fits well in terms of design , and it is environmentally friendly, it has added value. And in my case, today, both tops and pants are vintage. I feel like I am reusing clothes that someone else gave away. Of course, I don't have the mentality of "it's a waste, so I'll take it back," but I think that as an approach to the environment, it is connected to the fact that I am taking care of it.
TEPPEI: I don't really have an outdoor image of you, but do you own a pair of "The North Face"?
TEPPEI: Of course, I use them. When it's raining or when I go to the snowy mountains, but when specifications are required, I overwhelmingly choose "The North Face.
What is the appeal of "The North Face" for you among the many outdoor brands?
TEPPEI: The level of their products goes without saying, but the way they fit in when used around town is a bit different from other brands. These shoes are no exception.
What do you mean?

TEPPEI: These shoes also have a domestic feel to them. When an outdoor brand makes a shoe for town use, we tend to say, "No, no, the design is totally outdoorsy! To put a finer point on it, the logo on the heel is also deliberately in the same color. The GORE-TEX logo is also modest. But they are also environmentally friendly and functional, so when you think about it calmly, I think it's amazing that they encompass all of these things.

The logo is also something that would normally make a statement.
TEPPEI: I think they are made with a firm understanding of what "town use" means.
By the way, do you usually wear GORE-TEX shoes?
TEPPEI: Of course I carry Gore-Tex, but in my job, I am on location buses until the last minute even if it is raining heavily, and when I go to the leasing office, for example, I am outside only for a short time. So, there are surprisingly few situations in which GORE-TEX is absolutely necessary. However, this may be a male-specific thing, but even if it is not raining or people do not know that I am wearing GORE-TEX shoes, just the fact that I am wearing shoes with the same specifications may satisfy me in some way.
