At least one fish ....... Can you manage to catch one!
With our bellies filled, we move on to the next location. Given the time of dusk, this is the last point of interest.
Sasaki:In the evening, wahoo are coming in close to shore. It would be nice if active bass could come out of the water grass. Spinnerbaits and other baitfish-type lures the size of wakasagi would be good.

Komatsu, who is unfamiliar with bait reels, is also doing his best.

Komatsu:I am trying to get the hidden bass to notice me through the water plants, but ....... I don't get any bites, but I can throw it as far as I can, or drop it where I want it, and casting is fun like a game.
Ikemoto is making his last spurt. He is wearing an angler's 3-layer poncho by Daiwa. The sleeves are slim, making it easy to move the arms, and the sides have large buttons that open and close, allowing access to the pants pockets.

Ikemoto:The sleeves are easy to wear without being too flimsy. It's the perfect detail for fishing and I also wear it to festivals.
I am also interested in the vest that Mr. Hara is wearing.

Hara:It is from "Connett," a brand I make with a fishing motif. It has a large slash pocket and a pocket with a flap, and can hold a lure case. There is also a game pocket on the back. The design is more akin to a hunting vest than a fishing vest, making it easy to coordinate for everyday use.
There is only a short amount of time left. No one has caught a bass yet, and the anglers are scattered in pursuit of bass. This is where the pros have the edge. Mr. Sasaki showed us a bass!

Sasaki:I saw some nice waterweeds, and when I was shaking it with WILD PORK, it popped. I knew it was in the weeds. I would have liked to catch a more decent size fish, but ......
Thanks to Mr. Sasaki, it was time to end the tour when the bus appeared again this time. Thank you for your hard work in the cold and rain.

Ishii:I was very reluctant. I knew it was a difficult season, but the rain and cold made it even harder to catch fish. But the crisp, cold weather made me feel taller and more relaxed. My goal was to refresh myself after the busy days, and I accomplished that. I was able to detox sufficiently.
Hara:It was fun because I have been busy lately and haven't been able to go fishing much. I wish I could have fished, though. Please call me again anytime!
Ichikawa:Even in the rain or cold, you get carried away. It was the first time for me to fish in Kawaguchi Lake all day long, even though I didn't catch any fish. I usually go to Lake Yamanaka or Lake Nishiko. It's a good chance to catch big bass in the coming season, so let's come back again soon.
Komatsu:It's too bad we didn't catch any fish, but it's interesting because it's not easy to catch! It was a meaningful day for me to get used to the bait reel. At any rate, I would like to go to a controlled fishing area and touch fish for today while training for the next fishing trip.
Ikemoto:I didn't catch any fish, but it was fun to just throw big lures. I also need to equip myself with a run-and-gun. Now that I know the points of Kawaguchi Lake, I want to come back.
