Even if it gets scratched, it becomes a taste,
The feeling of growing up is fresh and interesting.
. What are your honest impressions after wearing them for a long time?
Ohashi: As for the comfort, I honestly don't know if it was this good (laughs). (laughs). (Laughs.) I try on leather shoes and various boots as part of my studies, but Timberland's boots don't tire me out even when I wear them on hard asphalt. These boots look like a pair of solid boots, but when I try them on again, I realize that they are made by "Timberland. They are easy to walk in and do not tire at all. The grip is firm, so I could wear them in the outdoor field with no worries.

I see that the functionality of the system was also a good fit for you.
Ohashi: What makes these hooks unique is that they are quick-release, so I thought they would be great for wearing while camping and such. . It's hard to pull the laces through every time you put on and take off your boots. It is very difficult to pull the laces of boots through each time, but with these, you just hook them on and it is very easy to put them on and off. I have never worn my "Euro Hiker" boots outdoors, but the leather repels water, so my feet didn't get wet while playing by the water. This is a matter of the color, but I can wear them outdoors without worrying about stains.

The colorway is very American, isn't it?
Ohashi: I agree. Of course, yellow nubuck is a boot that can be worn outdoors, and worn-out and dirty boots are also cool, but in the culture I like, I am hesitant to actually wear them outdoors because I have to be careful how to keep them in good condition. However, with "Euro Hiker," even if there are small scratches or other marks, they become a part of the look, and I think it's interesting to see them grow in this way, which is very fresh and interesting.
I think the color name "Beef & Broccoli" is a local expression of New York City that Ohashi-san and his colleagues have popularized in Japan, but this "Euro Hiker" has a slightly different hue from that, doesn't it?

Ohashi: I think it's a little different again. People tend to think that the brown and olive green ones are all "beef and broccoli," but there is a difference. I think "Beef & Broccoli" is the only "Field Boot" color. For example, there is a 6-inch boot that comes in almost the same colorway, but everyone calls it "Mobb Deep. The reason for that is because that is the color that Prodigy wears on the second Mobb Deep album. There is also a coloring called "Hazel Highway," which everyone calls "Hazel. I think this color is one of the heritage of "Timberland," and at least this is the color I think of when I hear the word "Euro Hiker.
I get the impression that you actually recognize the original purpose of your products and experiment with them, not only for "Timberland" but also for other products.

Ohashi: That was after I started my own store. Since we are a retail store, I have always felt that when we sell something, we have to cater to all kinds of customers. For example, if I explained Timberland boots to a customer from a cultural or hip-hop perspective, I would not be able to answer a question from someone who wants to wear them in the mountains, "How about wearing them in the mountains? If someone who wants to wear them in the mountains asks, "How about wearing them in the mountains? If a product was originally created for use in the mountains, even if it is used in town, we try to test it once in the mountains. When I do, I get some kind of feedback, and when I use the product as it was originally intended, I am very satisfied with it, and I also want my customers to use it that way as well.
