KURO

(KURO) jacket ¥50,600, pants ¥27,500 (KURO GINZA), shirt ¥24,200 (SOFT HYFUN), shoes ¥63,800 (FOOT THE COACHER), others Stylist's personal effects

Double jacket setups that give a strong impression of formality are another story if they are well-designed. The frayed thread-like chain stitching adds a light accent to the dark-toned jacket.

Square-toe loafers are chosen for the feet. While keeping the overall look minimalistic, there is also a subtle playfulness.

This set-up is meticulously sewn at one of the best tailored factories in Okayama Prefecture, blending three types of yarn to produce a deep look. The resulting polyester twill fabric is dyed using a special technique, leaving a unique wrinkled appearance and giving it a loose look.

USED

Used set-up ¥47,300 (Sino Clothing), [Bodhi] knit ¥55,000 (Alpha PR), other stylist's personal effects

It's hard to find a new double set-up. If that is the case, you can try digging at secondhand clothing stores. Even a jacket with padded shoulders, which may seem difficult to find, can be made more comfortable by pulling out the collar of the shirt or wrapping a scarf around the shoulders.

Used set-up ¥47,300 (Sino Clothing)
Thick wool fabrics, checkered patterns, and peaked lapels are the best part of used clothes. The charm of secondhand clothing is that you can get a set-up that would have been made to order at a relatively reasonable price.
