His love of clothes naturally led to more sneakers.

Born in 1980. Born in Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture. After moving to Tokyo, drawn by the fashion scene, he began collecting sneakers while going to Urahara, and now runs his ownYouTubeHe is known as a genuine sneaker freak, appearing on TV programs and transmitting information on Currently, he has 150 pairs of sneakers in stock at home, and he wears them more than he looks at them. His special skill is "when I see a pair of sneakers, I can tell you the name of the model.
- Do you remember the first pair of sneakers you ever wore?
I was given these "Superstar" sneakers by Adidas, which I wore to school when I was in junior high school. The school rules prohibited me from wearing anything other than white sneakers, so I chose the "Superstar" because I wanted to at least be different and fashionable.
I have a lot of Nike shoes on hand now, and I first met them when I bought a pair of original "Air Jordan 5s" from the older brother of a friend of mine. He was on the basketball team at the time, and he must have known I liked fashion, because he asked me if I wanted to buy a pair of black Air Jordan 5s with silver tongue. I had heard that the shoes had deteriorated to a certain degree, but I had already wanted them so I didn't listen to him... When I actually saw them, the soles had been hydrolyzed and the soles were very worn out.

- At least if they were in wearable condition.... What was it that led you to collect sneakers with such passion?
I have always loved fashion, so my collection grew naturally. It's not that I wanted to collect only sneakers, but rather that I liked clothes in the first place, and sneakers were an extension of that.
When I was in high school, I subscribed to "BOON," and in the mid-1990s, I was following the vintage vintage clothing boom centering on denim such as "Levi's 501XX" and the subsequent street boom of domestic brands such as "Good Enough. I admired Hiroshi Fujiwara, NIGO®, and Jonio (Jun Takahashi) who were appearing in magazines at that time.

- Even if I couldn't afford them, I would check magazines for them. When did you start to be able to afford these sneakers?
It wasn't until I started working that I was able to buy the sneakers I wanted, and I started collecting the "Air Jordan" series first. I would find the models I liked at thrift stores and buy them. Recently, I've been trying to get my hands on a pair of the soon-to-be-reissued "Air Jordan 1 Chicago. I have to pray that I win because I have to buy them by lottery (laughs).
- When did you first become involved in fashion and sneakers in your work?
It started around 2015. I formed a sneaker club with Razor Ramon RG and others and started holding events. I started doing talk shows with Negoshix about Urahara, and other activities involving fashion that were different from my main business increased.

- That's how you ended up on "Ametalk! Ametalk!" from there.
That's right. I gradually became known as a sneaker enthusiast, and I was finally allowed to appear on "Ametalk! I got a great response. My followers on social networking sites increased dramatically, and I started getting jobs. I was also happy that I was able to gradually buy the sneakers I liked. However, I still have to be very selective when buying.

- What kind of clothes do you have in mind?
I often dress in an old-fashioned or American casual style, but I am careful not to go overboard. For example, instead of overtly 90s American-style clothing, such as a top that is just right and denim that is a little too thick, I try to add a modern touch by making the sizing a little larger to give it a more relaxed feel.
I buy sneakers to wear them all because they are not ornamental. I don't choose not to wear them. However, I currently have about 150 pairs, so it is doubtful that I can wear them all... (laughs).

- The "New Balance" shoes you are wearing this time are in an unusual color.
It is a collaboration with Joe Fresh Goods, a designer based in Chicago, U.S.A., and features pastel colors of pink, blue, and green. I applied for the lottery thinking, "I'm not going to win anyway," but I won! Freshly grated.
- Oh my! Please tell us how to match the down as it is!
Since I'm here, I picked up the light blue of the sneakers by playing with the letters on the "Blues Weber" T-shirt and the dial of the "Timex", and matched it with the olive color of the down to create an overall subdued look. I didn't realize that the Timex dial was turquoise until after I was told (laughs).
The down feels easy to wear because its characteristic fuzziness is suppressed. The side pockets are also made of a raised material on the inside, so they feel comfortable when you put your hand in them. The fact that it seems to be easy to wear around town is a point that I personally think is very nice.
