Don't try too hard, but take a life-size + α form.
The one-of-a-kind car that is created by modifying the interior and exterior of a standard car, rather than the latest specs or the unique design of a classic car. The Codes by Codes, which just started this year, is a styled car that stimulates such creativity, and we wondered how such a car would look to someone who works in the creative field for a living. With the keywords "car" and "creative" in mind, we asked Kenichi Hiramoto, an active stylist, to board the car and explore its appeal from a creator's point of view.
For stylists, a car is not just a means of transportation, but something special that they come into contact with on a daily basis, whether leasing, researching, or even driving themselves to photo shoots. Ms. Hiramoto has always loved cars, so much so that she has already done some simple customization, such as replacing the front grille on a car she used to own. We quickly climbed into the driver's seat of the "Voxy Urban Nature" by Codesby and headed to Ginzan Coffee, located in a back alley behind Ikejiri-Ohashi Station, to get a cup of coffee, an essential accompaniment to driving.

This area is close to my house and I often drive through it on my way to the city center. I had never heard of GINZAN COFFEE, but this kind of coffee stand is convenient when you are in a hurry because you can take out the coffee in a jiffy. As a stylist, I spend a lot of time traveling by car, so a comfortable ride is essential. In this respect, the Voxy Urban Nature is based on a family car, so there is no doubt that it is comfortable to ride in.

I have never wanted to drive a genuine family car because the design was not to my liking and, to be honest, I was not excited about it. But this car, with its military colors and rugged atmosphere, is the complete opposite of a family car, in a good way. I often listen to music in the car and enjoy my time as if I am entering the world of the song. And the coffee I drink while listening to music is also very special."

The existing Netz emblem was replaced with a black Toyota emblem, and the entire bumper was painted matte-textured black. The exterior is so harmonious that you can't tell which parts were customized," said Hiramoto. The suspension is made up of orthodox 5-spoke wheels and all-terrain tires with a rugged SUV-like style. It has been updated to specifications that make it safe for outdoor use.
