TANA:I've been wearing a true size for the past few years; I used to wear an XL in my 20s, but lately I've been wearing a true size M or L. . I used to wear such a big size that I wonder myself how I used to play basketball in that size (laughs).

TANA:. I don't have that many clothes to wear for a shoot. I will shoot in my normal clothes , and I want to play basketball in my normal clothes.
- Then I would like you to wear it on and off. So I look forward to seeing you in a month.
TANA:This month I will be in Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and also Okinawa for the filming of "SamCity" (a 3-on-3 style streetball league). . I am looking forward to seeing this coat in action because of the cold temperatures.

The Great Eagle:Yes, we do. Many of our neighbors are also farmers, and they bring us their surplus crops, which we also share with them. Bartering is a part of our daily lives. I like that environment.
- What work did you do today?
The Great Eagle:Harvesting. Usually we use a machine, but since it rained, we did it by hand today.
- It is obvious that you put a lot of coats on. Did it help with the farm work?
The Great Eagle:I wore it every day. I honestly thought the coat was not suitable for farm work, since I would be moving and sitting at work, getting in and out of the car. But when I actually tried it on, I had no problem with the length. The split raglan sleeves made it easy to move my shoulders.
- . It was good. How was the rest of the fit?
The Great Eagle:. It's GORE-TEX and the length of the garment covered my thighs, so I wasn't cold. Most of all, I was happy to be able to work in a different mood.

The Great Eagle:That's why I felt immoral (laughs). . since I usually use clothes I no longer wear for work.

- What do you mean?
The Great Eagle:When they age well, I go back to wearing them with my personal clothes. I used to work in sneakers from " Converse " and they started looking good, so I started wearing them with my personal clothes.

The Great Eagle:. I move my hands around, so my sleeves inevitably get chafed. . Since we cut them to the specified length before shipping, they get dirty from the moisture of the green onions.

The Great Eagle:So you can repair them and wear them for a long time with care. I think this is one of the good things about NANAMICA.

The Great Eagle:. The straps got caught while I was working on it, so I fastened them on this side. . Then the sleeves were tucked in, making it easier to move my hands. . It got a weird wrinkle, though, and I got a bite there.

The Great Eagle:After all, I like to stick one with mud on it straight into the fire and roast it. . When I peel off the charred skin, it is tender and sweet. . My mother cooks green onions, Chinese cabbage, enoki mushrooms, and shirataki mushrooms in a sweet and spicy sauce of soy sauce and kimchi. That is a staple of my lunch. It goes well with rice!

The Great Eagle:Since we are dealing with nature, we are quick to sense the seasons and give up.
- Giving up?
The Great Eagle:Once you have done what you can do, you have to let nature take its course, and if it doesn't work, you give up. . You can't control nature, like rain or snow, and you can't win against nature. . Rather than living, I feel that I am being kept alive.

- It has been a while . How have you been this past month?
Kaino:I'm collaborating with a newly launched e-commerce store and "Sate Sate" to release a tea. There was a tasting of that tea, and I was there wearing a coat. I am planning to sample that tea today as well.
- How was the fit?
Kaino:I had a lot of luggage for the tasting, including tea and tea utensils, so it was difficult to wear bulky outerwear. In this respect, this coat came in handy.
- That's good to know . You mentioned that you had never worn GORE-TEX with any concern. How did you feel about wearing it consciously?
Kaino:I felt windproof. I found that my normal clothes let through more cold wind than I expected.
- GORE-TEX is windproof and breathable , so it is comfortable without being stuffy and hot.
Kaino:. I was glad to be able to experience the high functionality of GORE-TEX again. . The best part is that the outer fabric is cotton, which makes it easy to coordinate with my outfit.

Kaino:The inside pockets with zippers are great too. Ladies don't often have clothes with inside pockets, and not many clothes are cute and functional to begin with, so I will be wearing this a lot in the future.

Kaino:. the wrinkles are my wrinkles when I bend my elbows. . There are many events in the spring, so I want to wear it and grow into it.
- I think many people will rediscover the deliciousness of the tea when they drink it at the event.
Kaino:Yes, it is. Many people are unaware that such delicious tea is so close at hand, but it is so commonplace. I admire foreign cultures and sensitivities, but there are many good things in Japan as well.
- 〈NANAMICA〉 sticks to the standard, and although it is hard to notice, when you wear it, you can tell the difference from others. And it is also appreciated overseas. I feel that "NANAMICA" and Japanese tea are somehow similar.
Kaino:The taste of Japanese tea is delicate, and I believe that if you can feel the difference, your life will be a little richer.
- The packaging of 〈SATESATÉ〉 is modern and does not look like Japanese tea at first glance.
Kaino:I think the general austere and cool packaging of Japanese tea expresses the tradition and spirituality of Japan. However, in order to further popularize the product, I thought it was necessary to have a new, modern sense of values, so I asked them to design it this way. It would not look out of place in cafes overseas. Someday, I would like to develop this product so that people overseas can learn more about Japanese tea.
- What kind of image do you want people to have of Japanese tea in the future?
Kaino:I think there are many different sides to the story. I would like to expand the range of how people perceive each other.
- I didn't know about the different types of tea and the choices available, but I'm glad to have heard about it and to know that there are many ways to enjoy it.
Kaino:I would be happy if more people find their own way to enjoy tea and live a life with tea in their daily lives.

- It has been several years since I have been to the basketball court at Yoyogi Park . It has been cleaned up.
TANA:. We renovated it last year through crowd-funding. I designed one of the two sides of the building.
- So it was! That's cool.
TANA:Thank you very much. . It was a great responsibility to design this place, which is called the "sacred ground of streetball playgrounds" in Japan.
- I understand that you have been traveling around the country for the past month. Did you wear a coat?
TANA:I wore it almost every day , not just on business trips. I wore it pretty hard, but was it really good? (Laughs)
- I was rather hoping for that. The bite is so strong on the pockets and sleeves that I can't help but imagine that he used to put his hands in the pockets often.
TANA:I actually tend to stick my hands in my pockets because I'm insanely cold (laughs).
- We were traveling to different areas, and recently it has been warm and cold, and there was a big difference in temperature. How did you dress for the cold, TANA?
TANA:I had to wear a lot of clothes under my coat to adjust.
- It is an outdoor concept to regulate body temperature by layering. If you usually do, do you change your outerwear depending on the area you are going to?
TANA:Yes . I thought this coat could be worn until early spring in any area, depending on the layers. Spring is also cold, so this coat is about right.
- How was the fit?
TANA:I found that the resilient fabric gradually became more and more comfortable to my body. I felt secure in the GORE-TEX and liked the classic design that made me feel good. In addition to being comfortable, it set up my rough and ready outfit.
- Did you wear it during the filming of the match?
TANA:It is during the game, when it is cold, that I am glad I have my coat on. I said before that I would take pictures dressed as I usually do, but I am concerned about how I look. The audience might be surprised to see a bearded guy in a top and bottom sweatshirt taking pictures in the court (laughs).
- . the rough look was covered by the coat, he said. Does your photographic approach change between competitions and street ball?
TANA:Competitions are interesting in the way they are organized and how they are filmed because of the atmosphere of that competition and the tension of the last few seconds and the moment when the winner is decided. There is the emotion and skill of the bowlers betting on that game, the anticipation and enthusiasm of the audience, and it is filled with an atmosphere that street ball does not have.
- What about street balls?
TANA:There are many elements that are unique to the day, such as the character of the bowlers gathered there and the intensity of the light. Communication and outfits also vary. Where do you put your antennae and where do you cut out? That's the interesting part of finding out. . I've been here hundreds of times, but it's always exciting because I can't predict what I'll be able to capture.

TANA:Yes, it is. Overseas, that is the norm, but in Japan there are still not many because many people are shy. I hope that many bowlers will learn the fun of pick-up games communicating with strangers, and that the excitement of connecting with a playground and a ball will increase.
