Igarashi-san, while modeling, you are also involved in creative activities, or something like that.
Yes, I have. I haven't had much time to do it recently.
You are a graduate of the University of the Arts, aren't you? You entered the university straight through. That's amazing.
I was lucky. It was a rather new department called the Department of Advanced Art Expression. To put it roughly, the department is developing new methods of expression within the category of contemporary art.
In the sense of expression, modeling and art may be fundamentally the same. What are you interested in these days?
I'm really enjoying acting right now. I just started last September.
I think you have an atmosphere and face that could be used for a variety of characters.
Thank you very much. I hope to work hard on that this year.

Atelier Beton" has a lot of items with slightly dull colors or tones, don't they?
Yes, I think so. Beton = concrete, so we may often choose such nuanced colors rather than clear colors.
I don't think the brand has a seasonal theme, but how do you feel about the 2023SS?
Each time I use a little bit of color as an extra color, but this season I think I may use more of that color than usual.
There are quite a few fabrics that you make originally, aren't there?
I think half of my work is always original. I try to create an expression with the feel of the material.
Do you usually wear a lot of clothes from Atelier Beton?
These days, I wear almost exclusively my own brand of clothing.

Today's outfit may have been a little different from your usual style, but it suits you.
Thank you very much. Yes, it was different and fresh from the usual feeling.
Looking at your Instagram, I see that you play golf a little bit.
That's right. I started last April or so. I've only been on the course a few times.
Golf is very popular, isn't it? And the number of women players seems to be increasing.
I think so. Many brands have been created.
What do you enjoy most?
It feels good to be out on the course, but I like the feeling of taking a walk and playing at the same time.
You like to take it easy, don't you? Are you usually outside on your days off?
No, actually, I'm a huge indoor person. I'm happiest when I sleep until noon (laughs). I recently moved and am looking for a nice rug.
