The relationship between STUTS music and cars.
Let me talk a little about the relationship between music and cars, which is of interest to me. In order to check how the music I create sounds, I listen to it with headphones, in the room, and even in the car.
When I'm driving, I can listen to the songs I've created somewhat objectively. That's a good thing. I also listen to albums by artists I like and choose music depending on the weather and time of day. The last time I went to Nara, I was listening to various new albums that I was interested in. This EV car has almost no engine noise, and the Harman Kardon® speakers sound great."
As he says, the quietness of EVs and the high-quality Harman Kardon® speakers installed in the "XC40 Recharge Ultimate Twin Motor" make it the perfect environment for listening to music. Another of the best things about the quietness of an EV is that it allows you to better appreciate the sounds of nature, such as the sound of the wind and birdsong when driving with the windows open.
Also, when I meet people I know from work who drive the same make of car, I feel that we share the same senses of what is important to us. The design and comfort of each car is completely different, so when I meet someone who drives the same Volvo, I feel happy because I drive a Volvo myself (laughs).

The car is equipped with a number of functions to support safe driving, including steering assist, which helps the car stay in the center of the lane. The "One Pedal Drive" mode can be easily toggled on and off via the on-screen controls. Airwoofer technology and Harman Kardon® speakers deliver rich bass and true-to-life sound to the cabin.
Now that I am getting used to driving my first EV, there is one feature I would like to try. This is the "One Pedal Drive" function developed by Volvo, which allows the driver to operate the car only with the accelerator pedal, while the regenerative brake is activated without stepping on the brake.
(Touching the display) Is this one-pedal operation? It's quite difficult (if you are new to driving) (laugh). But once you get used to it, it's easy because you don't have to move your feet (gas pedal and brake pedal), and I guess this is a feature unique to electric vehicles. When I drove an EV for the first time, the quiet, smooth ride and easy-to-use controls were refreshing in many ways, and I thought that an EV would be a good choice (if I were to buy another car).
As the rain started to fall harder while experiencing the "one-pedal drive," we drove the car further toward our final destination, the Budokan.
