6,332 runners will run along the shores of Lake Biwa!
At 8:20, the race began with the gun!

Starting from the Prince's Athletic Field in Otsu City, I ran about 1 km through the city, and Lake Biwa was suddenly in front of me. This is the largest lake in Japan? The members of HOUYHNHNM RUNNING CLUB♡ (all three are from and live in the Kanto area), who are not familiar with Lake Biwa, were excited.
Further driving will take you to the Omi Ohashi Bridge, which connects Otsu City and Kusatsu City. The distance is about 6 km around here.

. Yamamoto and Yuri run nimbly along the Omi Ohashi Bridge. Although there are some ups and downs when crossing the bridge, the course is generally flat and easy to run.
When I was running alongside Ms. Yuri, she said, "You are Yuri, right? I always watch your Instagram!" I always look at your Instagram! I realized once again how popular Yuri-san is with her many followers.

The number of runners in this year's event was approximately 6,300. The moderate size of the event allowed for a stress-free run from start to finish, without the hassle of traffic jams and the like.

During the race, the beautiful Lake Biwa is in view for most of the course. The ability to enjoy the scenery to the fullest is arguably the most attractive aspect of this event.

The weather that day was sunny and sometimes cloudy. The temperature was about 10 degrees Celsius at the start and rose to nearly 20 degrees Celsius during the day. Although it felt hot when the sun came out, a cool breeze blew from time to time , cooling down our burning bodies.
