Mr. Horiuchi, you have the unique background of starting a vintage clothing store with zero experience in vintage clothing, but is it possible to do it out of the blue?
Horiuchi:It was really a trial and error process. When I went to the U.S. last year to buy something, I didn't know the area at all and had almost no plan, so it was a lot of work (laughs).
It is also very modern not to have a physical store, isn't it?
Horiuchi: Thankfully, we have customers all over the country, so I think it makes sense to do it online. We sometimes open pop-up stores in other locations, but only for a week or so. For the time being, we are thinking of going online only.
What kind of items does "greeny usedclothing" sell?
Horiuchi: . I like rough clothes, so I tend to buy such things. So, when I buy clothes, I put size aside and base my decision on whether or not I want to wear them.

Please tell us what you keep in mind when running an online vintage clothing store.
Horiuchi: It is difficult to get a sense of vintage clothing unless you actually try it on, and it is even more difficult to convey the appeal of the items I purchase if I only show pictures of them. Therefore, I try to upload pictures of the clothes as much as possible, and when new items arrive at the store, I try to convey the feeling of wearing them through videos as well.
Do you usually work on a computer?
Horiuchi: I take pictures with my smartphone, and most of the other work, such as uploading products and processing photos, is done on my tablet.
What do you think of the HUAWEI MatePad SE 10.4" compared to the one you normally use?
Horiuchi: First of all, I was surprised at how lightweight it is. I often work on the road, so I usually have my tablet with me when I go out, and it was not difficult to carry it around. . The one I am using now weighs about as much as a small laptop, even though it is a tablet.
. Any other thoughts you would like to share?
Horiuchi: I had never used a Huawei product before, so I thought I would be at a loss to operate it at first, but in fact, I was able to use it smoothly without any problems at all.
My work can be done on a smartphone, but the screen is too small to work on, and it is difficult to see the details of the clothes. However, that doesn't mean that the work is as important as using a PC. In this respect, the Huawei tablet has a perfect screen size, and I had no problem processing the photos.
. I would be happy if you could carry it with you when you go to the U.S. to make purchases.
Horiuchi: I would love to take it with me. Not to flatter you, but I was surprised when I first opened the package. I was surprised at how lightweight it was. I used to use only one manufacturer's products, but I realized that, just like fashion, you have to try different things.
