A point that is un-Likely and innocent.

. So you come back to the meaning of "unlikely" or "unlikely".
Nakata:When I started my brand, a blazer was the starting point. I found it at a vintage clothing store in the "346" line of Brooks Brothers. The original owner had ordered it privately, and when I looked at the tag, I found that it was made in 1977.
I was taught the basics of American traditional at BEAMS PLUS, and was told that "everything from the 40's to the 60's is here. But when I saw the wide lapels of blazers made in the 1970s, I thought, "This is it! . the 70's was a time of exaggeration, and fascinating designs were prevalent. I decided to use that era as a base while mixing in details from the 40s, 50s, and 60s (laughs).
. It's a pretty bold idea, isn't it?
Nakata:The navy blazer is a symbolic garment that "must be ____," but if you mix all the ages, you can wear anything and match anything (laughs).

Unlikely Assembled Blazer ¥99,000
So you made this blazer.
Nakata:The lapels are 70s, the fit is a 60s box silhouette, and the slightly lower pocket positions and solid shoulders are details from the 50s. I thought this would allow me to get away with saying, "This is the 60's," when I get a tussle, no matter what kind of clothes I put on with it (laughs).

Nakata: However, that alone was boring, so we decided to use a nylon ripstop lining, making it easy to put on and take off the sleeves, just like a mountain parka. However, they are made at a tailor's factory and maintain the quality of a dress shirt, which I think is what makes them interesting. This interpretation is incorporated throughout the brand.
What other items do you have?

Unlikely Assembled Sports Coat Wool Tweed ¥121,000
Nakata:I like Woody Allen, so I wanted to make the tweed jacket he wore in "Annie Hall". At the time, they probably used Harris Tweed fabric, but as it was, it was too heavy and not modern enough. So, I made this jacket using a tweed from an English tweed company called "Merlin & Evans," which has a history as long as that of Harris Tweed.

Nakata:. Actually, it is made of merino wool. . so it is soft, lightweight, and pleasant to the touch. Like the blazer, this one is also lined with an outdoor lining.
Also, I think everyone thinks of the jacket that Woody Allen wore when he talked about "Annie Hall," but this is inspired by the jacket that Diane Keaton wore. That's another point that's very "Unlikely" (laughs).

Unlikely B.D M-51 Field Jacket ¥107,800 , Unlikely M-65 Hood Anything ¥24,200
Nakata:Also, Woody Allen's M-51 jacket is iconic. This is an American traditional interpretation of the M-51. I was looking at some vintage clothing items and saw a button hole in the collar. I thought it would be interesting to make a button-down jacket with an American traditional mix, so I actually added buttons.

Nakata:Furthermore, the lining is tailored to tailor's specifications, making it a military jacket that can be worn like a suit.

Nakata:. And this item also comes with an attached M-65 hood. I tried combining parts of old clothes just for the fun of it, and it turned out to be a surprisingly good fit. It was originally a different combination, but it looked cute and voluminous around the neck, so it is a suggestion item to be worn in a new balance.
Are these chinos also from Woody Allen?

Unlikely Sawtooth Flap 2P Trousers ¥47,300

Nakata:Yes, it is. I wear these all over the place, so I couldn't resist making this item. They are just ordinary chinos, but if you look closely, you can see that the flap of the coin pocket is designed in the style of a western shirt.
You also have a full line of shirts, don't you?

Unlikely Button Down Shirts ¥44,000 , Unlikely Tie Oxford ¥11,000
Nakata:This is a design based on a certain American brand of button-down shirts from the 90s, mixing various eras. I wanted to refocus on the necktie, so I dared to make it from the same fabric as the shirt, and I would like to propose a playful necktie. The fabric is a luxurious, thick, ultra-long staple cotton called Ultimate Pima.

Nakata:. You have made the pockets extremely low and close to the center. This is a detail that was used in old-time flannel shirts, and we made it the same size as an iPhone , making it easy to use. We did not just consider the balance of the shirt, but we also paid attention to the ease of use. The idea came from the idea that it would be nice if this shirt had this kind of pocket, or if the functions of that shirt could be used with this shirt.

Unlikely Elbow Patch Flannel Work Shirts ¥48,400
Nakata:At first glance, the flannel shirt may look heavy-duty, but it is woven with Egyptian Giza cotton, which gives it a soft and elegant look. It is a dress shirt made in a dress shirt factory.
Do you have any other items that you recommend?

Unlikely Simple Down Vest ¥104,500
Nakata:This down vest is based on a vintage item from the 70's, and we stuffed as much down as we could fit into it. . When worn, it has a cute snowman-like silhouette. The material is EPIC, which is used by the U.S. military and has a water-repellent finish applied to the threads, so it does not lose its water-repellent properties even after washing. In other words, it is a mix of military and outdoor wear.

Nakata:In addition, what I wanted to express with this item was layering. Generally, down vests are worn over jackets, but this item can be worn inside a jacket, and I wanted to propose a new approach.
