Born in 1981 in Kanagawa , Japan. After working as an announcer for TV Asahi, she became a floral artist. Currently manages the flower brand "gui" and the florist shop "NUR. Recently, she is obsessed with muscle training and goes to the gym whenever she can find the time.

When did Maeda-san open this flower shop?
Maeda:This store opened in 2021. Before that, we had been selling flowers from a mobile shop without a location, but we wanted to compete with the real experience of being able to choose flowers.
You don't often stand in the storefront now, do you?
Maeda:I leave the running of the store to the staff, and most of the time I am outside, delivering products to clients or attending workshops.
What kind of work clothes do you wear?
Maeda:I don't really change my style on and off the job, but I do choose clothes with good hemming. . But really, it's like an extension of my everyday fashion.
Do you care much about the functionality?
Maeda:Since they get dirty and get caught in things, functionality is also important. I think it is important that the blade be washable and cleanable, and that it not puncture when the tip of the blade hits it.

What do you think of the Danner vest you are wearing now?
Maeda:When I am in the middle of work, I often lose things (laughs). (Laughs.) Like, "Oh, where did I put that? (Laughs). But Danner's vests have a lot of storage space, so I thought that problem would be solved.
It also has an attachment to hold a blade, which is exactly what you would want for a florist, gardener, or any other job that requires the use of a blade.
We heard that you have been working in your garden recently.
Maeda:Yes, that's right. I am learning by helping work on a garden at a temple in Kamakura.
-How do you transport your tools at that time?
Maeda:That's where I have trouble, I'm always messing around (laughs). . Even then, I thought this vest would be convenient to put my smartphone, wallet, and tools for tending the garden in.
Also, I have been going camping recently, and it would be convenient for that as well. Moreover, it is unisex and the size can be adjusted, so I can share it with my husband.
I would like to try this for flower work , but also for camping.
