I am attracted by the unparalleled classic design.

-It has been about a year and four months since "cliché" opened. What is your usual role in this store?
Under the trees:I am allowed to be in charge of the store, so I feel like I do everything myself, from buying and social networking to online shipping.
-What do you think is the highlight of the store?
Under the trees:Each brand we buy has its own role in our store. I think we have a unique product mix where brands from different genres coexist. That is why we have a wide variety of customers, ranging from the American casual guy who wears Levi's XX to the dressy guy who wears Cantate.
-You have a wide range of products that you handle.
Under the trees:That's right. However, I think the selection is very selective, with western boots from Rios of Mercedes and leather goods from Cantata and Buzz Rickson's.

-By the way, what do you do on your days off?
Under the trees:I finish late on work days, and my time with friends sometimes does not coincide, so recently I have been going out to eat and drink less. I go to see waterfalls on my days off to make up for it.
-Do you mean you want to get in touch with nature?
Under the trees:I don't do any camping or other activities, but I like to just relax and enjoy nature. A nice cold beer would be great.
-That was unexpected (laughs). Do you have any other hobbies or interests that you are into?
Under the trees:Lately I've been into ironing (laughs).
-Is an iron the thing that makes your laundry wrinkle free?
Under the trees:It is not a steamer, but a so-called iron. It feels good to iron dry and wrinkled laundry. I guess it's a stress reliever, or I like to do detailed work, so it's good to get lost in it.

We asked Ms. Kinoshita to use "Link Original Makers" perfume this time.
Under the trees:I found a "Link Original Makers" hand soap in the restroom of the beauty salon I go to, and every time I washed my hands, I vaguely thought, "That smells great. The classic packaging also left an impression on me, and from there I saw the brand on SNS and learned of its existence. The last time I was in Yaesu for shopping, I happened to see the store and bought the same hand soap.
-What did you like about the hand soap?
Under the trees:It's a package design you won't forget once you see it. It really is like buying a jacket. The scent left behind, or rather, the fact that it smelled so good after washing, as if I was wearing perfume, was one of the reasons I decided to purchase the product.
-By the way, do you always use perfume?
Under the trees:I actually got into perfume about 3 years ago when I was in the middle of the Corona Disaster. In an effort to enrich my time at home, I got into palo santo and incense, which led me to use perfume as well.
-What kind of fragrances do you like?
Under the trees:I don't like sweet scents; they make me feel sick in real life (laughs). (Laughs) That's why I like woody or masculine scents, but "No. 991" from "Link Original Makers" is a little different in taste from what I have now. However, I thought the natural fragrance was easy to use.
It smelled more oriental than woody, which I like. It's more like a floral scent...but not sweet, and the middle note changes a bit to lavender. It is a new world for me.

-I understand that you like wood scents, but are you still concerned about the ingredients in them?
Under the trees:Yes, I would. Patchouli or sandalwood would probably be close to my taste. This "No. 991" is supposed to be patchouli in the last note, so I guess that's what attracted me to it.
-What is your impression of the package?
Under the trees:The packaging is another attraction of this brand. The design, the font, my taste was just don't like it. The whiskey-like bottle is also cool. And then there's the heavy cap made of brass. The more you use it, the more it changes over time, and I love that.
-It's cool as a thing.
Under the trees:Yes, I agree. Many perfumes have logos or are girlish, but this classic design is eye-catching. Even men who have never used perfume before may find it easy to use.
Eau de Parfum No.991 ¥14,080
It has a distinctive oriental scent made entirely from essential oils. The top note is bergamot, the middle note changes to lavender and ylang-ylang, and the last note changes to patchouli. The brown glass bottle is an original bottle with a luxurious feel. The cap is a custom-made cap machined from solid brass, and the more it is used, the more it changes with age, which tickles men's hearts.
